Family Appliance Repair in Omaha, NE
Two generations, four technicians, one phone number. We fix the appliances in Omaha homes and we send the same person back when you call again.

Started in a Garage in Benson, 2007
Marwick began with one van, a garage full of parts and a phone that rang in the kitchen. The second generation runs the schedule now, and the first still takes the tricky refrigerator calls.
We stay small on purpose. Four technicians means the person who fixed your washer last spring is the one who comes back for the dryer.
- ✓Family-owned since 2007
- ✓The same technician each visit
- ✓Straight advice on repair or replace
What You Get When the Owner Answers the Phone
A person, not a call center
The phone rings in our office. You get a two-hour window, a text when we are on the way, and a call if anything changes.
The same technician
We send the person who knows your house and your appliances. Notes from the last visit come with them.
Repair or replace, honestly
If the repair is not worth it on an old machine, we say so and we do not charge for the advice.

The Call We Get Most
Dishes come out gritty, the floor is wet, or the cycle never ends. Most dishwasher calls come down to a clogged filter, a tired drain pump, a spray arm that no longer turns or a door latch that will not tell the control it is shut.
We carry pumps, latches, arms and inlet valves for the dishwashers we meet most, so most of these repairs finish in one trip.
- ✓Drain pumps and hoses
- ✓Spray arms and filters
- ✓Door latches and gaskets
- ✓Inlet valves and control boards
Three Dishwasher Checks You Can Do Tonight
01Pull and rinse the filter
It twists out of the floor of the tub. A filter packed with food is behind more gritty-dish calls than any part we replace.
02Load so the arms can spin
Open the door mid-cycle and check the spray arms turn freely. A pot handle in the wrong place stops them.
03Check the dispenser
If the tablet is still in the door after a cycle, the dispenser latch or the water fill is the problem, and that one is ours.

Stacked, Compact and Apartment Laundry
A good share of Omaha laundry lives in closets: stacked pairs in Aksarben apartments, compact washers in Dundee bungalows, ventless dryers in condos downtown. We repair them where they sit, and we know which ones have to be unstacked to reach the pump.
Washer leaks, dryers that run cold, doors that lock and will not open: most of it is one part and one visit.
- ✓Stacked and compact pairs
- ✓Ventless and condenser dryers
- ✓Front-load door locks and seals
- ✓Top-load lid switches and pumps
How a Visit Works
Call or book
Tell us the appliance and the symptom. We give you a two-hour window.
We text on the way
You get a text with the technician's name when they leave the previous job.
Diagnose and quote
We find the fault and quote the whole repair before any part goes in.
Fix it, usually today
The vans carry the common parts. If a part must be ordered, the return visit goes in the book before we leave.
The Same Face at the Door
Same technician three times over six years, for three different appliances. He remembers the house, the dog and which breaker is the dryer. That is why we keep calling.
Our dishwasher left a film on everything. She cleaned the filter, showed me where it hides, replaced a worn spray arm and told me to skip the rinse-aid I'd been overdosing. Twenty minutes.
They told us our fifteen-year-old fridge was worth fixing, fixed it for less than a car payment, and it has run two more winters since.
Something Quit This Morning?
Call before ten and we are usually there the same day, anywhere from Elkhorn to Papillion.
Things People Ask Us
How much is the service call?
The service call is $79 in Omaha and the close suburbs. If we do the repair, that $79 is part of the price, not on top of it.
Do you fix all brands?
Most of them. If a machine needs a part we cannot get, we tell you on the first call so you are not paying for a visit.
Will the same person come back?
Yes, whenever the schedule allows. We keep notes on every home so the next visit starts where the last one ended.
Can you tell me if it is worth fixing before you come out?
Often. Tell us the age, the brand and the symptom and we will give you an honest guess on the phone.
How far out do you go?
Omaha and the ring around it: Dundee, Benson, Aksarben, Millard, Elkhorn, Papillion, La Vista and Ralston.
