Frequently Asked Questions
How far in advance should I order?
For custom birthday and theme cakes, we recommend two to three weeks, and popular weekends (and anything around the holidays) book up even sooner. That said, we love a good rush — message us with your date and we'll always tell you honestly whether we can pull it off. The earlier you book, the more we can dream up together for your kid's big day.
Can you make any theme or character?
That's our favorite part! Dinosaurs, mermaids, superheroes, unicorns, a very specific video-game character, this year's obsession — send us a photo, a drawing, or just a wildly detailed description and we'll design a cake that nails it (and often makes it even better). Every cake is hand-sculpted and hand-decorated from scratch, so we're not limited to a catalog.
Do you deliver and set up?
Yes — we deliver across Orlando and the surrounding areas including Winter Park, Baldwin Park, Lake Nona, Dr. Phillips, and Kissimmee, and we set your cake up on-site so it arrives picture-perfect and party-ready. Delivery is quoted based on your location. For tiered and delicate cakes especially, we strongly recommend letting us handle transport so nothing gets jostled on the way.
What about allergies and dietary needs?
We can accommodate many requests — including gluten-friendly and nut-aware cakes — with advance notice, and we're happy to talk options when you order. Our kitchen does handle wheat, dairy, eggs, and nuts, so we can't guarantee a completely allergen-free environment, but we'll always be upfront about exactly what we can safely make for your party and your guests.
How much does a custom cake cost?
It depends on size, design complexity, and details like sculpting or a specific character, so every cake is quoted individually. Cupcake packs and simpler designs are budget-friendly, while elaborate sculpted showpieces are a bigger investment in the party's centerpiece. After you send your details, you'll get a clear quote with no surprises — so you know exactly what you're getting before you confirm.
Do you do cake smash cakes for first birthdays?
We do, and they're one of our favorites! You'll get an adorable mini smash cake that's safe and fun for the birthday baby to dive into, plus a full-size cake for the grown-ups and guests if you'd like. They photograph beautifully and taste great too. Just let us know your theme and colors and we'll design a matching set for those priceless first-birthday photos.
