Eggs at Three — All-Day Brunch in Nashville, TN
Brunch runs until we close, seven days a week. No reservations, no app — join the waitlist by text and go and do something else until it's ready.

No Reservations, and No Standing Around
Weekends run ninety minutes at eleven o'clock. Here's how to spend none of that on the pavement.
Put Your Name Down in Person
Come to the host stand and give a name, a number and a party size. It takes twenty seconds and it's the only step that needs you here.
Get a Real Number
You'll be told an estimate, and it's the honest one rather than the flattering one. If we think it's ninety minutes we'll say ninety, and some people leave — that's fine.
Go Away
There's a bookshop, a record shop and a park within four minutes. We'll text if the estimate moves, in either direction, rather than letting you find out by standing here.
Come Back on the Text
We hold your table ten minutes from the message. Miss it and you go back on at the front — you don't start again.

Nine Years of Not Taking Bookings
Wren & Rye opened on Fatherland Street in 2017 with fourteen seats and one griddle. We took reservations for the first four months and then stopped, and it is the best decision we've made.
Reservations sound fairer and in a small brunch room they aren't. Held tables sit empty through the busiest twenty minutes of the day, late parties push everyone behind them, and the people who lose out are always the ones who couldn't plan three weeks ahead. A waitlist that texts you honestly turns out to be both faster and more equal.
The other thing we're stubborn about is the clock. Brunch runs until we close. If you want pancakes at ten to three on a Tuesday because you've come off a night shift, that is exactly who this room is for.
- ✓Open since 2017, no reservations since 2018
- ✓Brunch served until close, seven days
- ✓Health score 98, posted at the door
- ✓Kids eat half portions of anything, half price
Fatherland Street
Thirty-four seats now, two big tables that don't get split, and a griddle you can watch from most of them.

When to Come if You Hate Queueing
Genuinely useful, and it costs us the eleven o'clock rush we'd rather smooth out anyway.
8:00 – 9:15 · Walk Straight In
The best-kept secret of a brunch room. Full menu, full kitchen, no wait at all, and the pancakes are if anything better because the griddle is fresh.
9:15 – 10:30 · Twenty Minutes
Filling up but manageable. This is when the two big tables usually turn, so groups do well here.
10:30 – 1:00 · Sixty to Ninety
The peak, and no amount of cleverness fixes it. Put your name down, go to the bookshop, and we'll text you honestly.
1:00 – Close · Walk In Again
It falls off a cliff after one and most people don't know, because most brunch rooms have stopped serving by then. We haven't.
Waiting, Eating and Allergies
Can I book a table?
No, and we won't make an exception for a birthday, which we know is annoying. Held tables sit empty through the busiest part of the day and everyone waits longer for it. The waitlist is faster for the room as a whole.
How long is the wait, really?
Eight to nine-fifteen is a walk-in. Ninety minutes at eleven on a Saturday. It drops off completely after one. Whatever the number is when you arrive, you'll be told the honest one and texted if it moves either way.
Do you serve brunch all day?
Every item, until we close. Nothing switches over at eleven, there's no lunch menu, and eggs at ten to three on a Tuesday is a completely normal order here.
Is the gluten-free food safe for coeliacs?
We run a separate bench, a dedicated griddle zone, a separate fryer and a named GF lead every shift, and the protocol is a laminated sheet you can ask to read. What we can't promise is an airborne-free room — there's flour in the air, and if you react to traces we'd rather say so plainly now.
Can you seat a group of eight?
Yes — we have two big tables and we don't split them. Same waitlist as everyone, and the wait for eight is genuinely longer, so mornings before nine-fifteen are your friend.
Is it good for kids?
Very. Half portions of anything on the menu at half price, high chairs, and a griddle they can watch. Weekday mornings are calmer if that matters.
Do you do whole cakes?
With three days' notice — email or ask at the counter. From $58 depending on size and what you want on it.
Can I hire the room?
Weekdays after two, yes. Email us with a date and a headcount. We don't do weekend hire, because the queue outside is largely people who've been coming for years.
The Best Time to Come Is Early
Full menu, full kitchen, no wait. The pancakes are better off a fresh griddle and nobody believes us until they try it.
Cakes, Groups and Private Hire
We can't hold a table by email — but for a whole cake, a big group or a weekday hire, this is the right place to ask.
