Get the Price List — Wholesale Coffee in Milwaukee, WI
Roasted to order and on your shelf inside 48 hours. Published tiers, no contract, no minimum, and a grinder engineer who answers the phone.
Four Kinds of Account
Same coffee, same roast schedule, same delivery. What changes is the equipment, the training and how often the van comes.

We Are a Supplier, Not a Brand
There is no Gantry cafe and there never will be. That's a deliberate choice, and it's the one thing most of our accounts say made the difference when they switched.
Roasteries that also run their own shops are competing with the customers they supply. They open two blocks from you, they put their name on your cups, and their best staff work in their room rather than training yours. We took the other road in 2014 and have stayed on it: one 35kg roaster on South 5th Street, twelve people, and 180 accounts whose logos we've never once put on our own website.
What we do instead is the boring half of the trade properly. Roast Monday and Thursday, deliver Tuesday and Friday, put the roast date on every bag, keep a grinder engineer on staff rather than on a call-out contract, and publish the price list so nobody has to negotiate to find out what coffee costs.
- ✓No retail shops — we don't compete with our accounts
- ✓One 35kg roaster, twelve people, since 2014
- ✓Roast Mon & Thu, deliver Tue & Fri
- ✓A grinder engineer on staff, not on call-out
Four Tiers, Printed Here
Per pound, all blends and single origins, delivered. There is no negotiation and no first-order discount — the tier is the tier, and a twelve-pound account pays what a twelve-pound account pays.
Under 20 lb / week · $13.50
Offices, small restaurants and cafes finding their feet. No minimum at all — we'll deliver a single 5lb bag and we won't make you feel small about it. Free training is included at every tier including this one.
20 to 60 lb / week · $11.75
Where most independent cafes sit. Adds an espresso machine on loan (you cover install and insurance), grinder servicing twice a year, and burr replacement at cost rather than at markup.
60 to 150 lb / week · $10.40
Multi-site cafes and busy restaurants. Adds a second weekly delivery slot, priority engineer callout inside one working day, and a named account manager who is an actual person with a mobile number.
Over 150 lb / week · $9.60
Groups, hotels and grocery. Adds private-label bagging from 200lb a month, custom blend development with your head of coffee, and quarterly cuppings for your staff at our place.
Six Things We Don't Charge For
Most of the trade charges for at least three of these. We fold them into the per-pound price because a customer whose coffee tastes good buys more of it.
The Roast Date, On Every Bag
Printed, not a best-before eighteen months out. If a bag reaches you more than four days off roast, tell us and it's replaced. This costs nothing and roughly half the trade still won't do it.
Barista Training, Whenever You Hire
At your bar or ours, as often as you need, forever. New hire in March and another in August? Both trained. It's the highest-return thing we do and it's free at every tier.
Grinder Servicing, Twice a Year
An engineer on staff who cleans, calibrates and replaces burrs at cost. A grinder with worn burrs wastes about eight percent of the coffee you're buying, which makes this free service pay for itself twice over.
A Dial-In Visit After Six Weeks
Unprompted, whether or not you've asked. Water hardness changes, staff drift, the summer blend behaves differently. Nobody books this — we just turn up and ask if now is a good time.
Sample Boxes, No Obligation
Four coffees, ground to your brew method, posted free before you commit to anything. We send about forty a month and convert maybe half, which we think is the correct number.
Leaving Without a Fight
No contract means no exit clause. Tell us you're going elsewhere and we'll uninstall the machine, take the last invoice on normal terms and wish you well. Four accounts have come back.
710 South 5th Street
One 35kg roaster, a cupping table anybody can book, and a van that leaves at six on Tuesdays and Fridays.

Four Steps, About Two Weeks
From first email to first delivery. Nobody will call you before you've asked to be called.
Price List and a Sample Box
Two working days, by email, no call required. Four coffees ground to your method plus the full tier sheet with your likely tier marked on it. If you never reply, that's fine and we won't chase you twice.
Cup Them on Your Own Bar
On your machine, with your water and your milk, which is the only test that means anything. Ask for a second box if the first four weren't right — most accounts take two.
We Come and Look at the Grinder
Before you commit. Nine times out of ten there's something wrong with it, and about a third of the time we can fix the coffee without you changing supplier at all. We say so when that's the case.
First Delivery on the Next Tuesday
No onboarding fee, no setup charge, no minimum first order. Training gets booked for whenever suits your rota, including a Sunday, and the six-week dial-in visit goes in the diary that day.
What Buyers Say
Our previous supplier sent beans with no roast date on the bag and took nine days to answer an email about a broken grinder. Gantry put the roast date on every bag, replaced our grinder burrs inside a week, and did not once mention a contract.
The price list is published. I cannot tell you how unusual that is in this trade. I knew what we'd pay at forty pounds a week before I'd spoken to a human, which meant the first conversation was about the coffee instead of about the discount.
They trained four of my staff for free on a Sunday, then came back six weeks later unprompted to check the dial-in. We have doubled our coffee volume since and it is entirely because the drinks got better.
What Buyers Ask Before Switching
Is there really no minimum?
None. We'll deliver a single 5lb bag to an office of nine people and it goes on the same van as a 200lb drop. The tier price is worse at that volume, obviously, but there's no floor and no surcharge.
Is there a contract?
No. Nothing to sign beyond a delivery address and a card on file. If you leave we uninstall the machine, invoice the last delivery on normal terms and that's the end of it. No exit clause exists because there's no agreement for one to sit in.
What's the catch with the machine on loan?
You cover installation and insurance, we cover the machine and its servicing. It stays ours. Above 20lb a week it's free; below that we'll sell you a good used one at what we paid. There genuinely isn't a catch beyond that.
How fresh is it, actually?
Roasted Monday or Thursday, delivered Tuesday or Friday. Every bag has the roast date printed on it. If something reaches you more than four days off roast we replace it — that's happened eleven times in twelve years and we've replaced it eleven times.
Do you deliver outside Milwaukee?
Madison, Racine, Kenosha and Sheboygan on the Friday van. Further than that we ship courier, next day, free above 20lb. Green Bay and the Fox Valley are on the list for 2027 if the volume gets there.
Can we get our own label?
From 200lb a month. We handle bagging, barcodes, case packs and shelf-life dating, and you own the artwork. Twenty-two of our accounts sell a bag with their own name on it and not ours.
Will you open a cafe near me?
No. We have no retail sites and won't, because a roaster who competes with its own accounts is a bad supplier. It's been the position since 2014 and it's the single most common reason people move to us.
What if the coffee isn't right?
Tell us and we'll come out. Usually it's the grinder, the water or the dose rather than the beans, and we'd rather fix it than swap the coffee and have the same problem next month. If it is the beans, we change them.
The Price List and Four Samples, Free
