Rides We've Made Shine
A look at recent work from the Phoenix shop.

Built by Riders, for Riders
Throttle & Shine started in a Phoenix garage ten years ago because the local car-wash chains didn't know what to do with a motorcycle — and definitely couldn't be trusted near chrome and spokes. We ride what we detail: street bikes, cruisers, dirt machines, and watercraft. That means we know where grime hides, which finishes need a gentle touch, and exactly how to make a machine look its absolute best.
- ✓Detailers who actually ride
- ✓Hand-polished chrome and metal
- ✓Safe around electronics and finishes
- ✓Phoenix-born and rider-owned

Chrome That Stops People in the Lot
Oxidized, pitted, hazy chrome is what separates a tired bike from a head-turner. Hand-polishing chrome is slow, exacting work most shops won't touch — and it's exactly what we love. From pipes and pegs to spokes and bezels, we bring metal back to a mirror and protect it so it stays that way through Phoenix summers and desert rides alike.
- ✓Pipes, pegs, spokes, and bezels
- ✓Oxidation and light pitting removed
- ✓Mirror finish, hand-polished
- ✓Protected for the long haul
Phoenix Riders Trust Throttle & Shine
Brought in my Harley with twenty years of oxidized chrome. Throttle & Shine made it blinding again — better than the showroom. They obsess over every spoke and bolt. Found my shop for life.
They prepped my café racer for a regional bike show and I took a trophy. They know exactly what judges look for and treat a bike like a piece of art. Worth every penny.
Ceramic coated my sport bike and the bugs and chain fling wipe right off now. Maintenance went from a chore to five minutes. These guys actually ride — they get it.

Detailing Your Ride, Explained
Do you only detail motorcycles?
Bikes are our specialty, but we detail the whole garage — street and sport bikes, cruisers, ATVs, UTVs, and personal watercraft like jet skis. If you ride it, we'll make it shine.
Can you fix oxidized or hazy chrome?
Yes — chrome and metal polishing is one of our signatures. We hand-polish pipes, spokes, and bare metal to remove oxidation and light pitting, then protect them so the shine lasts.
Is ceramic coating worth it on a bike?
Absolutely. On a motorcycle, ceramic makes bugs, chain fling, and brake dust wipe right off, protects against UV and desert heat, and keeps the finish glossy with far less effort.
Can you prep my bike for a show?
Show and concours prep is a core service. We know what judges look for, detail every bolt and bracket, and our prep has earned customers trophies across the Southwest.
How long does a detail take?
A standard bike detail is usually a few hours to a day; full chrome restoration or show prep can take longer. We'll give you an exact timeline when you book — and we never rush the work.
