24 Hour Self-Serve Car Wash in Spokane, WA
Wash it yourself, any hour, for a few dollars. Hot water, a foam brush, underbody spray and filtered water for the last pass in every bay.

A Clean Car in About Ten Minutes
Pre-soak the whole car
Start the bay, spray pre-soak from the bottom up and let it sit for a minute.
Soap from the top down
Switch to high-pressure soap and work roof, glass, hood, sides, then bumpers.
Brush, then wheels
Rinse the foam brush first, go over the body, then hit the wheels with tire cleaner.
Rinse twice
High-pressure rinse to clear the soap, then spot-free rinse for the last pass.

Lit, Heated and Open at 3am
Sudwell has been on North Division for twenty-two years. The bays are lit all night, the floors are heated so they don't ice over in January, and every bay is checked twice a day for pressure, foam and soap.
If something isn't working, the phone number is on the wall of every bay. Somebody answers it, day or night.
- ✓Heated floors all winter
- ✓Lights on every hour
- ✓Every bay checked twice a day

Get the Salt Off
Road salt and de-icer sit under the car all winter. Two minutes on the underbody setting, aimed at the wheel wells and behind the bumpers, flushes most of it out.
The bays stay above freezing all night, so you can wash after the plows come through without the doors freezing shut.
- ✓Underbody setting in every bay
- ✓Above freezing all night
- ✓Towels on the vending wall
Wash It the Way You Like

Six Habits of People Who Wash Here Every Week
Rinse the brush first
The last person may have used it on muddy wheels. Ten seconds of spray clears it.
Keep the wand a foot away
Close enough to lift dirt, far enough not to chip the paint or soak the door seals.
Wheels last
Tire cleaner is strong. Do the wheels after the body so it never drips on clean paint.
Don't skip spot-free
Regular rinse water leaves marks as it dries. The last setting is worth the quarter.
Mats before the car
Hang the mats on the wall clips and run the mat cleaner first, so they drip dry while you wash.
Dry in the shade
Pull into the vacuum lane and towel off before the sun bakes on any drops.

Load $20, Get $24 of Wash Time
Sudwell wash cards work in every bay and vacuum. Reload at the machine by the office, or ask about a card for your work trucks.
Self-Serve Questions
How much does a self-serve wash cost?
Most cars are done for $6 to $9: $3 starts a bay for four minutes, and each extra quarter adds twenty seconds. Trucks in the oversize bay usually spend $8 to $12.
Are you really open 24 hours?
Yes. Every bay and vacuum runs all day and all night, every day of the year. The lot is lit and the bays are heated in winter.
Can I pay with a card?
Yes. Every bay takes cards and tap-to-pay as well as quarters and Sudwell wash cards. The change machine by the office takes bills.
Will my truck fit?
The oversize bay fits full-size trucks, vans, small trailers and most boats on a trailer. Lifted trucks taller than about eleven feet should call first.
Can I use my own soap or buckets?
You're welcome to bring your own mitt, towels and a bucket. Please use our soap from the wand rather than your own, so the drains stay clean.
Something in my bay isn't working. What do I do?
Call the number on the bay wall. Somebody answers day or night, and we'll credit your card or wash card for the time you lost.
