Boxed Lunch Catering in DC

One box per person, labeled by name with allergens flagged — delivered to offices, conferences, and federal buildings before the meeting starts. Order by 3 PM for next-day.

Why Boxes

The Case for the Box

Buffets are for evenings. When there's an agenda, the box wins.

No Line, No Lost Minutes

Sixty people served in ninety seconds. Everyone grabs their named box and the meeting keeps moving.

Allergies Solved by Design

Dietary needs are sealed into separate, clearly flagged boxes — not fished out of a shared tray.

Budgets That Behave

One box, one price, multiplied by headcount. Procurement approves it without a meeting about the meeting.

We Know the Loading Dock and the Checkpoint

Delivering lunch in Washington means security desks, badge escorts, X-ray belts, and rooms that move three times before noon. Meridian was built around that reality.

Our drivers are background-checked and practiced at federal-building entry. Boxes arrive staged by room or track, with signage, napkins, and utensils inside every box — so a delivery can be walked through a checkpoint and served in minutes.

On the Record

What DC Offices Say

We run six briefings a week and Meridian has never missed a delivery window. The boxes are labeled by name with allergens flagged, which means zero triage at the door.
Amara K.Events Lead, Capitol Hill
Getting food into our building is genuinely difficult. Their drivers know the security process cold, and lunch has been on time for two straight years.
Robert D.Operations Manager, Federal Agency
The executive boxes read as premium without the caterer premium. Our board meetings finally eat as well as they argue.

Boxed Lunch Questions

What's the minimum order?

Twelve boxes for standard delivery. Conference orders scale to 1,500+ boxes with staging by room or track — those need one week's notice.

How late can I order?

3 PM for next-business-day delivery. Same-day is occasionally possible for Signature boxes before 9 AM — call and we'll give you a straight answer.

What does a box cost?

Signature boxes run $16-19 per person, Executive $24-29, Breakfast $12-15 — delivery included inside the District. Every quote is one per-box number, no service-fee surprises.

How do you handle allergies?

Dietary boxes are packed on a separate line, sealed, and labeled with the recipient's name and the allergen flags. Your manifest is confirmed before we pack.

Can you deliver to federal buildings?

Yes — it's our specialty. Drivers are background-checked and experienced with security screening at 40+ federal and secured buildings. Tell us the building and we'll handle the entry plan.

Do you cater recurring programs?

Standing weekly or monthly programs get rotating menus, a dedicated coordinator, and one consolidated invoice. Pause or resize any delivery by 3 PM the day before.
