Set a Longer Table — Mediterranean Catering in Los Angeles, CA
Mezze spreads that start conversations, lamb and vegetables off the charcoal grill, and pita baked to order — family-style feasts for weddings, offices, and backyards across LA.
How We Feed a Crowd
Every format is built around the same idea: abundance you pass down the table.

Food That Asks You to Pass the Plate
Olive & Ember cooks the food of the eastern Mediterranean — the Levant, Turkey, Greece — the way it's eaten at home: generously, family-style, with everything on the table at once.
Catering trends come and go, but a long table full of mezze has worked for two thousand years. We just bring it to Los Angeles, with a charcoal grill and enough warm pita to keep up.
- ✓Levantine, Turkish, and Greek traditions
- ✓Everything made in-house, pita included
- ✓Vegetarian dishes as mains, not sides
- ✓Family-style service that mixes tables
Feasts We've Set
Long tables, mezze hours, and charcoal smoke across Los Angeles.

How a Long Table Evening Runs
Family-style needs choreography too — ours is invisible.
The Mezze Lands First
Tables fill with fourteen small plates as guests sit — conversation starts before introductions do.
The Grill Show
Mains come off the charcoal in waves, carved and passed while the coals perfume the evening.
The Replenish
Platters never empty — our servers refill family-style dishes before anyone has to ask.
Sweets & Coffee
Baklava, fruit, and Turkish coffee close the night slowly, the way it's supposed to end.
What the Hosts Say
The mezze landed and the table went quiet, then loud. Whipped feta, charred eggplant, warm pita — our wedding guests formed opinions and friendships over that spread.
Our office orders the Mediterranean lunch weekly. It's the only catering that vegetarians, carnivores, and the gluten-free crowd all rate five stars in the same Slack thread.
They set a forty-person long table in our backyard with lamb off the charcoal grill and saffron rice. It felt like a village feast — in the best possible way.

Mediterranean Catering, Answered
What does Mediterranean catering cost?
Corporate lunches from $19 per person; full mezze-and-grill feasts run $58-95 per guest with service. The charcoal grill setup adds a flat fee that covers the pitmaster and equipment. Every quote is itemized per guest.
Is the charcoal grill safe for any venue?
We grill outdoors or in venue-approved zones with fire-safety clearances handled in advance. For indoor-only venues, mains are grilled at our kitchen and finished on site — the char survives the trip.
How do you handle dietary needs?
Half the Mediterranean table is naturally vegetarian, vegan, or gluten-free — so restricted guests eat from the same feast, not a separate sad plate. Nut allergies are flagged dish-by-dish on table cards.
What's the minimum group size?
Twenty for delivered mezze spreads; thirty for full-service feasts with the grill. Our biggest long table sat 220 — it required three pita ovens and was worth it.
Do you offer tastings?
Yes — feast bookings over 50 guests include a chef's tasting for four. Smaller events can book a paid tasting that credits toward your booking.
Can you match a mixed menu?
Happily. We regularly blend the feast with a raw bar, a pasta course, or a client's family recipe — the long table is flexible by nature.
