The Paperwork Your Licensing Visit Wants to See
Feeding children is a trust exercise with documentation requirements. Bramble & Sprout runs a dedicated nut-free kitchen with HACCP food-safety plans, allergen logs on every batch, and temperature records from our ovens to your serving tables.
Directors get a compliance folder that makes licensing visits boring — menus with CACFP crediting, allergen matrices, and delivery temperature logs, all kept current automatically.

The Reviews That Matter
Plate waste dropped by half the month we switched. The kids ask for the teriyaki bowls by name, and I stopped spending my mornings mediating lunchbox negotiations.
As a nut-allergy parent, their allergen documentation is the reason we chose this daycare. Every meal is labeled, logged, and traceable. I've never felt that safe with outside food.
They feed 400 students across our two campuses every day and the delivery has been late exactly zero times in three school years.

School Meal Service, Answered
What does a meal program cost per child?
Lunch programs run $4.25-6.50 per child per day depending on menu tier and headcount; breakfast and snacks from $1.75. CACFP-participating centers can typically cover most of the cost through reimbursement — we provide the crediting paperwork.
How do you handle allergies?
Our facility is 100% nut-free, and gluten, dairy, egg, and soy accommodations are cooked in separated workflows with per-child labeled trays. Every batch has an allergen log, and your compliance folder stays audit-ready.
Do meals meet CACFP / NSLP guidelines?
Yes — menus are built to CACFP crediting standards, reviewed by a pediatric dietitian, and delivered with the component documentation your food-program paperwork requires.
What if our headcount changes daily?
Update counts by 8 AM the same day through a two-minute text or portal update. You're billed for what we deliver, not a fixed contract number.
Do we need a kitchen on site?
No — meals arrive hot in insulated carriers with serving utensils. If you have warmers or a kitchen, great; if you have a folding table, that also works.
Can we try before committing?
Always. We cater a free tasting day for your students and staff — the kids' plate waste is the most honest procurement data you'll ever collect.
