About Nest

A Gentle Home for Growing Families

Nest was born from a simple belief: pregnancy and childhood deserve the gentlest, most nurturing care there is. Dr. Ellery opened the clinic in 2014 after her own pregnancy showed her how much comfortable, Webster-certified chiropractic care could change — and how few places truly specialize in it.

Today Nest is Boulder's dedicated home for prenatal and pediatric chiropractic. We're Webster-certified and CACCP-trained, which means we've done advanced, specific training in caring for pregnant mothers, babies, and children — not a general practice that also sees kids. Everything here is built around comfort and calm: warm rooms, feather-light techniques, unhurried visits, and a team that genuinely loves this work. We've cared for more than 4,800 Boulder families through pregnancy, birth, and the wonderful chaos of childhood — and we'd be honored to care for yours.

Webster care with Dr. Ellery got my baby to turn from breech at 35 weeks and made the last month of pregnancy so much more comfortable. My labor was faster and calmer than I dared hope. I recommend Nest to every pregnant friend I have.

Our newborn couldn't latch and cried for hours every night. Two gentle visits at Nest and it was like a different baby — feeding better, sleeping, settled. I cried grateful tears. These hands are magic with little ones.
Sofia R.Colic & Latch
Both my kids have grown up with Nest. The adjustments are unbelievably gentle — just fingertip pressure — and the clinic is warm, calm, and endlessly patient with toddlers. It's the only healthcare my children actually look forward to.
Megan T.Pediatric Family
After my second birth I felt wrecked — hips, back, everything. The postpartum care here put me back together over a few weeks and helped me feel like myself again. Nurturing, knowledgeable, and never rushed.

New to Prenatal or Pediatric Care?

Is Chiropractic Safe for Babies & Pregnancy? Yes.

If you're wondering whether chiropractic is safe during pregnancy or for a baby, it's a wonderful question to ask — and the answer, in trained hands, is a reassuring yes. Prenatal and pediatric chiropractic uses techniques worlds apart from adjusting an adult: for pregnant mothers, gentle Webster-certified care; for babies, no more than the light fingertip pressure you'd use on your own closed eyelid. There's no twisting, no popping, nothing forceful. Everything we do is specific, gentle, explained first, and entirely at your comfort. Most parents leave their first visit relaxed and reassured, wishing they'd come in sooner. Booking takes a minute, and we keep same-week appointments for new families.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Is chiropractic safe during pregnancy?

Yes — prenatal chiropractic is safe and gentle throughout pregnancy when performed by a trained, certified doctor. We're Webster-certified, which is specific advanced training for caring for pregnant patients. We use special pregnancy pillows and gentle, low-force techniques to ease back, hip, and pelvic discomfort and help balance the pelvis, which many mothers find makes for a more comfortable pregnancy and smoother birth.

How can adjusting a newborn possibly be safe?

Infant chiropractic looks nothing like adjusting an adult — there's no twisting, popping, or force. We use no more than the fingertip pressure you'd comfortably use on your own closed eyelid. It's incredibly gentle and specific, and it's exactly what our CACCP pediatric training prepares us for. Many babies relax or even sleep during care. We always explain everything first and go entirely at your and your baby's pace.

What is the Webster technique?

The Webster technique is a specific, gentle chiropractic method for pregnant patients that balances the pelvis and reduces tension in the surrounding muscles and ligaments. A balanced, relaxed pelvis creates optimal room for baby to move and get into the best position for birth. It's one of the core reasons families seek us out, and it requires specific certification — which our doctors hold.

Can chiropractic help with colic, latching, or sleep?

Many parents come to us exactly for this. Gentle infant care can help babies who are fussy, colicky, struggling to latch on one side, or sleeping restlessly — often because tension from birth is making them uncomfortable. We assess gently and, when appropriate, use feather-light care that many families tell us made a real difference in feeding, settling, and sleep.

Do you take insurance?

We accept many major insurance plans and will verify your coverage before your first visit so there are no surprises. We also offer straightforward self-pay and family pricing. Just let us know your plan when you book and we'll take care of the details for you.

How do I book a first visit?

Simply use the booking form on this page or give us a call — it only takes a minute. Tell us where you are in your pregnancy or what's going on with your little one, and pick a day that works. We keep same-week appointments for new families, and your first visit is a warm, unhurried welcome — never a rushed adjustment.
