Sundays 9:00 & 10:45 AM · Birth To 12th Grade

Family Church in Omaha, NE

Kids and students have their own rooms, their own leaders and their own reasons to want to come back. Grown-ups get worship, a message for real life and a cup of coffee they can actually finish.

Church Your Kids Will Ask For

Wildrye started in 2004 when a few young families in West Omaha wanted a church that took kids as seriously as grown-ups. Today about half of the people in our building on a Sunday are under eighteen.

So we build for them: bright, secure rooms, leaders who know every kid's name, and a message for parents that fits around naptimes and practice schedules.

  • ✓Kids from birth to 5th grade
  • ✓Students in grades 6–12
  • ✓Two services every Sunday

Check In At The Kiosk

Type your phone number and print a name tag for each child, plus a matching pickup tag for you.

Drop Off With A Leader

Every room has at least two screened, trained adults. Allergies print on the name tag.

Pick Up With Your Tag

Only the matching tag picks up your child. If anyone needs you, your number flashes on the screen in the auditorium.

Somewhere Teenagers Want To Be

Wednesday nights are loud. Dodgeball in the gym, pizza, worship with a student band, then small groups by grade with leaders who stick with the same group from 6th grade to graduation. Summer camp and a fall retreat give every student a few days away with friends.

Why Families Stay

★★★★★
Our twins were three when we first came. The check-in took two minutes, the room was bright and clean, and the leaders texted me a photo of them building a tower. We've been here ever since.

My daughter is fourteen and she has adults at Wildrye she actually talks to. As a parent, I can't tell you what that's worth.

Parents' Night Out was the first date my husband and I had in a year. The kids came home with a craft and asked when the next one was.

Parents Ask

Questions From Families

Are your kids leaders background-checked?

Yes. Every adult who serves with kids or students passes a background check, an interview and training before they start, and no adult is ever alone with a child.

What if my child has allergies or special needs?

Tell us on the form or at check-in. Allergies print on the name tag, and we can pair a buddy with any child who needs extra help.

Can my kids stay with me in the service?

Of course. Kids are welcome in the auditorium, and there's a family room with a window and speakers if you need to step out.

Which service should we come to?

Both have kids ministry. The 9:00 tends to suit families with little ones; the 10:45 is a bit busier.

Is there something for middle and high schoolers?

Students sit with their families on Sunday and meet on Wednesdays at 6:30 for games, worship and small groups.

What does Parents' Night Out cost?

Nothing. It's one Friday a month, 6:00 to 9:00 PM, for kids from birth to 5th grade. Sign up ahead so we have enough leaders.
