Busy Every Day, Short Every Month

Most owners call us when two or three of these are true.

Revenue is up, the bank balance isn't

You sold more this year and somehow there is less cash at the end of the month.

Every question comes to you

Quotes, scheduling, the unhappy customer. Take a day off and the phone keeps ringing.

Your prices haven't moved in years

Wages, materials and rent went up. Your price list didn't.

You're not sure which work makes money

Some jobs or products feel busy but leave nothing behind, and it's hard to tell which.

About Cradwell

We've Run Businesses Too

Cradwell is a family-owned practice in downtown Boise. Between us we've run a landscaping company, a restaurant and a machine shop, so we know what Monday morning looks like when payroll is due and two people called in sick.

We skip the jargon and the hundred-page reports. You get practical, reliable advice, in plain English, that you can act on this week.

Where owners find money

Four Places We Look First

Cash

Late invoices, slow payers and bills paid early can leave a profitable business short every month.

Prices

Costs went up and prices stayed put. A small, careful change usually matters more than more sales.

People

The right roles, clear expectations and fair pay keep good people and free up the owner.

Systems

Simple, written ways of working so the business doesn't depend on one person remembering everything.

What You Get From A Business Review

A Look At Your Numbers

Profit by job or product, cash coming in and going out, and where the money really goes.

The five changes worth making first, in order, with a rough dollar value next to each.

A Plain Next Step

What you can do on your own, and what we'd help with, with fixed fees for each.

Questions Owners Ask

Do I need to be a certain size?

No. Most clients have between 3 and 50 employees, but we've helped one-person businesses and companies with a hundred people.

Do you come to us?

Yes. We're in downtown Boise and visit clients across the Treasure Valley. Some of the work happens on video calls, too.

Is there a contract?

Projects have a fixed fee agreed up front. The Monthly Advisor plan runs month to month.

Why fixed fees instead of hourly?

So you know the cost before we start, and so we're focused on getting the job done rather than on the clock.

What if the review shows nothing worth fixing?

Then we'll tell you so, and you'll have spent a morning confirming the business is in good shape.

Do you replace my bookkeeper or accountant?

No. We work alongside them. They keep the books and file your taxes; we help you use the numbers to make decisions.

Is what I share kept private?

Always. Your numbers and plans stay between us, and we're happy to sign a confidentiality agreement.
