Street Dance Classes in Detroit, MI
Hip-hop, house, jazz funk and more — taught by Detroit dancers in a room that turns the music up. Your first class is $5.
Six Ways to Get Loud
Beginner-friendly classes in every style, six days a week.
Built in a Corktown Warehouse
Loudfloor opened in 2016 in a former auto-parts warehouse on Michigan Avenue. We kept the brick, added a sprung floor and a very good sound system, and started teaching the styles Detroit moves to: hip-hop, house, jazz funk and contemporary.
Our teachers are working dancers and choreographers from the city's club, theater and music-video scenes. The vibe is loud, friendly and completely judgment-free.

Detroit Dancers Say
Loudfloor feels like Detroit — loud, warm and nobody pretending. I came for one house class and now three nights a week are spoken for.
My nine-year-old used to hate after-school activities. Kids Combo turned that around in a month. The teachers are hilarious and they actually know every kid's name.
Jazz funk on Thursday is my therapy. Great music, great teaching, and a room that cheers for you when you finally nail the eight-count.
