A Linden Hills Tradition Since 1995
Wendlebury opened on Upton Avenue in 1995 with one studio and forty students. Three decades later we teach more than seven hundred dancers a season across four studios — and some of our teachers took their first class in this building.
We believe in steady, well-taught technique, a calm and organized front office, and a recital that feels like a celebration rather than a marathon. Families stay for years because the experience is the same good experience every season.

Thirty-One Seasons of Dance
One Weekend, One Real Stage
Every June our dancers perform at a downtown theater: two shows on Saturday, each under two hours, with every class from Tots to Adults on stage. Families can plan around it from day one — the date is on the calendar in September.
Costumes are ordered in November with the fee published per class, and rehearsals happen in regular class time until recital week.

Three Decades of Dancers
I danced at Wendlebury in the nineties, and now my daughter takes ballet in the same studio with a teacher who trained under mine. The standard hasn't slipped an inch — and neither has the kindness.
The office is a dream. Registration is simple, the recital calendar comes out in September, and every email answers the question before I ask it. For a family with three dancers, that matters.
I signed up for adult tap on a whim at 52. It's the most fun I have all week, and the recital number with the other adults was a highlight of my year.
How to Join a Class

Pick a class by age from the schedule, or ask us for a placement if your dancer has experience.
Register
Send the form and we'll email the registration packet and season fee details.
Get the Dress Code
Each class has a simple dress code — shoes and leotard colors come with your registration packet.
Come to Class
Your first class is a free trial week — change classes at no charge until the end of September.
Registration Questions
When does the season start?
The fall season starts the second week of September and runs to the June recital. Registration opens in early August.
Can we join mid-season?
Yes, if the class has room. Tuition is prorated from your start date.
Is there a trial class?
The first week of any class is a free trial, and you can switch classes at no charge until the end of September.
How do recital costumes work?
Costume fees are listed per class in November and ordered through the studio. Dancers keep their costumes.
Do you have adult classes?
Yes — ballet, tap and jazz for adults, beginner-friendly, with an optional adult number in the recital.
What if my child misses class?
Enrolled dancers can take one make-up class a month in any class at their level.
