Where the Theater Kids Belong
Proscenia opened on Edgewater Drive in 2013, started by a Broadway touring performer and a middle-school drama teacher who wanted Orlando kids to have one place to learn all three disciplines — and to learn them from people who have made a living on stage.
Today our faculty includes theme-park and cruise-line performers, music directors and trained teachers. Students move freely between dance, acting and voice, and everyone who auditions for our main-stage musicals gets a role.

Two Musicals a Year — and Everyone Gets a Role
Each winter our juniors stage a one-hour family musical, and each spring our teens take on a full-length show with sets, costumes, a live band and four performances in our black-box theater.
Auditions are kind and simple: a short song, a few lines and a dance combination taught on the day. Every student who auditions is cast, and every cast member gets a moment in the spotlight.

From One Line to Every Show
Our son auditioned for his first spring musical at nine, terrified. He got a small part with one line and one dance number — and he's been on that stage every year since. Proscenia gave him a place where the theater kids are the cool kids.

Good to Know
My child has never performed. Where do we start?
Mini or Junior Musical Theater is the best first class — a little singing, a little acting and a little dance, taught through games.
How much is tuition?
Group classes start at $72 a month for one weekly class, with a $35 registration fee per family and 10% off for siblings. Voice lessons are billed separately.
Do you offer adult classes?
Yes — Adult Tap, Adult Musical Theater and private voice lessons, plus audition prep for adults preparing for professional auditions.
Does every student get a part in the musical?
Yes. Everyone who auditions is cast. Lead roles rotate between productions so more students get a turn.
What does a production cost?
A single production fee covers the script, costumes and a family ticket. It's published at auditions, before you commit.
When are summer camps?
Weekly from mid-June to early August, 9 AM to 3 PM, with before- and after-care available. Each week ends with a Friday performance.
A Different Show Every Week of Summer
Week-long camps for ages 5 to 14 — rehearse Monday, perform Friday. Registration opens in March.
