Care for the Hours You Actually Need — Drop-In Childcare in Portland, OR
A meeting, an appointment, or just an afternoon to breathe — book an hour or a whole day, often same-day, with zero monthly tuition.
Pay for Hours, Not a Whole Month
Traditional daycare asks for a monthly commitment whether you use it or not. We flipped it: you book what you need, when you need it.
By the Hour
One-hour minimum, then hour by hour. A quick errand costs a quick errand — not a day rate.
Often Same-Day
Life doesn't schedule itself a month out. Text us in the morning; if there's a spot, it's yours by noon.
No Monthly Tuition
Nothing auto-charges. Come three times a week or three times a year — you only pay for time in the room.
Real Consistency Anyway
Same cheerful teachers, same cubby, same routines every visit. Flexible for you; familiar for them.
However Today Looks
Every option is drop-in flexible — no enrollment, no waitlist, no minimum days.
Not sure what you need? Text us your day — we'll tell you the openings and the cost, flat.

Booked in Two Minutes, Dropped Off in Ten
The whole point is speed. Register your family once — a five-minute form with emergency contacts and any allergies — and you never do it again. After that, booking a visit takes about as long as ordering a coffee.
Check today's openings online or by text, reserve your hours, and walk in. We keep your child's file, immunization records, and favorite-snack notes on hand, so drop-off is a hug and a wave, not a clipboard.
- ✓Register once, book in minutes forever
- ✓Check openings online or by text
- ✓Records kept on file — no clipboard at drop-off
Drop-In Doesn't Mean Second-Rate
Everything a great daycare does, we do — we just don't make you sign a year for it.
Fully Licensed & Ratio'd
OR Office of Child Care licensed, with the same staff-to-child ratios and safety standards as any full-time center.
Background-Checked Teachers
Every staffer is background-checked, CPR/first-aid certified, and here week after week — not a rotating cast.
A Real Rhythm Each Visit
Free play, circle time, a snack, and outside time — kids drop into a predictable groove, however long they stay.
Secure Check-In & Pickup
Photo-verified pickup, a coded entry, and a text the moment your child is signed in and out.
Bright, Open, and Built for Play

The Care That Fits Real Life
I work from home three days a week and my sanity is 100% dependent on Sprout & Go. Book two hours, take my calls in peace, pick her up happy. No monthly tuition for days I don't need it — genius.
New to Portland with no family nearby and a toddler who does NOT nap. The dentist, a job interview, one blessed haircut — Sprout & Go covered all of it, same-week, no strings. Lifesaver doesn't cover it.
Parents' Night Out is the best $40 my husband and I spend all month. The kids beg to go — glow party, movie night, pizza — and we actually finish a dinner conversation. Book it the second it opens.

You Get a Date. They Get a Party.
Two Friday and Saturday evenings a month, Sprout & Go turns into the best party in the neighborhood: glow nights, movie-and-popcorn, build-a-pizza, water-balloon summer specials. Drop the kids at 5, pick them up fed and worn out at 9.
It's the same licensed staff and the same safe space — just after dark, with more sprinkles. Spots are capped and they go fast, so members book first and the calendar opens to everyone a week out.
- ✓Two Fri & Sat evenings a month, 5-9 PM
- ✓Themed: glow night, movie night, pizza build
- ✓Same licensed staff, dinner included

How Drop-In Care Works
Do I have to book ahead, or can I just show up?
Both work — but booking ahead guarantees a spot. We hold to licensed ratios, so walk-ins depend on the day. A quick morning text usually lands you a same-day slot; popular evenings and weekends fill first.
What ages do you take?
Walking toddlers through age 10. Little ones (1-3) have their own gated room and lower ratio; big kids get maker projects, games, and their own crew. We'll place your child by age at check-in.
Is it really licensed, or is it more of a play space?
Fully licensed by Oregon's Office of Child Care (Lic. #CC-119807), with the same ratios, background checks, and safety standards as a full-time center. Flexible scheduling, serious care.
How does pricing work without monthly tuition?
A flat hourly rate with a one-hour minimum, billed to the quarter-hour after that. Membership passes (10 or 20 hours) drop the rate for frequent families. No registration fee, no monthly minimum — you'll see the exact cost before you book.
What should my child bring?
Just a labeled water bottle and, for littles, diapers and a comfort item. We provide snacks (allergy-aware), art supplies, and all the toys. For visits over four hours, pack a lunch or add our lunch option at booking.
Can I use it for regular part-time care?
Absolutely — lots of families book the same two mornings every week. You get the consistency of part-time care with the freedom to skip, add, or move a day whenever life shifts. A membership pass is usually the best value for that.
