Primary Care Without The Insurance Maze
Dr. Kettleby spent ten years in a hospital-owned clinic seeing a patient every fifteen minutes and spending evenings on billing codes. In 2020 she opened a practice where patients pay a simple monthly fee directly — and the time that used to go to insurance paperwork goes back to patients.
With no more than 600 members per doctor, visits start on time, run as long as they need to, and you can reach the doctor who knows you without going through a call center.
- ✓Board-certified family physicians
- ✓No more than 600 members per doctor
- ✓Prices posted, never billed later
Simple Monthly Prices
Month to month — no contract and no sign-up fee. Prices are the same for every member.
Labs and medications are billed at our cost, with prices posted in the office.
How It's Different
No Bill After The Visit
Your monthly fee is the cost of primary care — no copay, no deductible, no surprise statement.
Time To Actually Talk
Visits are usually 30 minutes or more, not 10, because the practice is small.
A Doctor You Can Reach
Your own doctor answers your texts — not a nurse line or a voicemail box.
Who Direct Primary Care Suits
Self-Employed & Small Crews
No group plan at work, and tired of paying full price every time you see a doctor.
High-Deductible Plans
A plan for the big things, and a flat fee so everyday care isn't a bill toward your deductible.
Local Employers
Peoria businesses that want their team to have a doctor they can actually reach.

Still Keep A Health Plan
We don't bill insurance for anything we do, which is how prices stay this simple. Direct primary care doesn't cover hospital stays, specialists, imaging or emergencies, so most members keep a health plan for those — often a lower-cost, higher-deductible plan.
Employers in the Peoria area can also offer Kettleby memberships to their team. Ask us about group pricing.
- ✓No insurance billed for primary care
- ✓Keep a plan for hospital and specialist care
- ✓Group memberships for local employers
Why Peoria Members Joined
I run a small landscaping crew with no group plan. For less than my phone bill I text my doctor, get seen the same week, and my blood work cost me eleven dollars.
My daughter's ear infection started on a Sunday. I texted a photo of the thermometer, got a reply within the hour and a Monday-morning visit. No copay, no bill in the mail.
Forty-five minutes with my doctor at my first visit to go over my diabetes, and she still remembers everything every time I come in.
Your Own Doctor, $79 A Month
Month to month, no contract. Most new members are seen within a week of joining.
Common Questions
Is there a contract?
No. Membership is month to month and you can cancel any time. There's no sign-up fee.
What isn't included?
Labs, medications and some supplies are billed at our cost. Specialist visits, imaging, hospital and emergency care are outside the membership.
Do I still need health insurance?
We strongly recommend it. Membership covers your primary care only; a health plan protects you for hospital stays, specialists and emergencies.
Can I pay with an HSA?
In most cases, yes — since 2026, federal law treats direct primary care fees up to $150 a month per person as a qualified medical expense. Check with your plan or tax adviser first.
I'm on Medicare. Can I join?
Yes. Medicare doesn't pay for the membership and we don't bill Medicare for our services, so you'll sign a short private agreement when you join. Keep your Medicare coverage for hospital, specialist and emergency care.
How fast can I be seen when I'm sick?
Most sick visits are the same day or next day on weekdays. Text your doctor first — some questions can be handled without a visit.
What if it's an emergency?
Call 911. Texting your doctor is for everyday questions, not emergencies. Please don't send medical details through this website's form.
