Four Weeks to a New Career — Class A CDL Training in Oklahoma City
Class A CDL training with more range hours than anyone in the state, instructors with a million miles between them, and carriers recruiting at graduation. Trucks move America — come drive one.

Pick Your Rig
From your first permit to your last endorsement — every program built around seat time, because nobody learns to back a trailer from a slideshow.

Instructors With a Million Miles Between Them.
Every Draymore instructor drove professionally before teaching — OTR, tanker, flatbed, oversize. They know the difference between passing a test and surviving an ice storm on I-40, and they teach both. Small cohorts mean you're in the seat, not in line: our range-to-classroom ratio is the highest in the state, and it shows on test day.
- ✓All instructors are veteran professional drivers
- ✓Small cohorts — maximum seat time per student
- ✓Modern tractors and trailers, maintained in-house
Twelve Acres of Practice
Our own range, our own rigs, and enough asphalt to get every maneuver wrong until you get it right.

What Tuition Actually Includes
All Range & Road Hours
No per-hour meter running. The program includes every range session and road mile it takes you to get test-ready.
Truck & Fuel for the State Test
You test in the tractor you trained in — included, insured, and warmed up. No rental scramble on the biggest day.
Permit Prep & Retakes
Knowledge-test prep, practice exams, and coaching through any retake — nobody gets left behind at the paperwork stage.
Lifetime Job Placement
Recruiter access doesn't expire at graduation. Change carriers in year three? Call us — the placement desk still works for you.

Carriers Are Waiting at the Finish Line.
Freight doesn't move itself, and Oklahoma sits on the crossroads of America — I-40 and I-35 meet ten minutes from our yard. Regional carriers recruit directly from our classes because they know what a Draymore graduate can do on day one. Most students sign before they've framed the license.
- ✓Recruiters on-site at every graduation
- ✓Sponsorship deals that cover tuition entirely
- ✓OTR, regional, and home-nightly local routes
Why Our Graduates Test Clean
01Pre-Trip Like a Ritual
The inspection is drilled daily until it's muscle memory — because it's the first thing the examiner grades and the habit that keeps you alive at 2 AM.
02Backing Until It's Boring
Straight-line, offset, alley dock — repeated on our range until a 53-foot trailer goes where you look. Examiners notice calm hands.
03Real Weather, Real Roads
Oklahoma wind, rain, and construction zones are part of the curriculum, not an excuse to cancel. You'll meet worse alone — meet it with us first.
From the Driver's Seat
Four weeks after my first day on the range I had a Class A in my pocket and three job offers on the fridge. The instructors drilled the pre-trip until I could recite it asleep — the examiner said it was the cleanest he'd heard all month.
I was the only woman in my class and worried about it for exactly one morning. Same standards, same seat time, zero attitude. Backing a 53-footer is the best skill I've ever learned — and my regional route pays double my old job.
Our company sends every new hire through Draymore's refresher before they touch our equipment. Insurance loves it, our safety scores prove it, and the drivers come back sharper every time.
Asked Before Enrolling
How long does it take to get a Class A CDL?
Most full-time students finish in four weeks: permit in week one, range weeks two and three, road and test prep in week four. Evening and weekend tracks stretch to eight or ten weeks for students keeping a day job.
What does the program cost, and is funding available?
Tuition is competitive with other registered Oklahoma providers, and most students don't pay sticker: workforce development grants, financing plans, and carrier sponsorships (tuition fully covered for a first-year commitment) are all common. Admissions walks you through every option before you sign anything.
Do I need experience or a special license to start?
No experience needed — just a regular driver's license, a DOT physical (we'll point you to a clinic), and being 18+ for in-state or 21+ for interstate driving. If you can drive a car, we can teach you the rest.
What's the job market actually like?
Strong enough that recruiters come to us. Ninety-two percent of our graduates have at least one offer before graduation, with first-year regional and OTR pay well above the state median wage. Local home-nightly routes are competitive but our placement desk knows who's hiring.
Is the training compliant with the federal requirements?
Yes — we're a registered training provider, and our curriculum meets the federal entry-level driver training standards. Your completion is filed electronically so the DMV sees it before you do.
Can I train while working my current job?
That's what the evening and weekend track is for. Range sessions run to dusk and Saturdays are full training days. It takes longer, but you keep the paycheck until the better one starts.
