Two Wheels, Zero Guesswork — Motorcycle Riding Lessons in Las Vegas
Learn to ride on a private range with coaches who still commute on two wheels — from your first clutch release to canyon-road confidence. Small groups, real drills, and the skills test passed before you ever meet an examiner.
Pick Your Line
Every course runs on our private range first, public roads second — because confidence is built where mistakes are free.

Coaches Who Ride to Work.
Every Ironhorse coach is a certified rider instructor and a daily rider — commuters, canyon regulars, a couple of retired racers. We cap groups at six riders per coach because feedback in the moment is what changes riding, not lectures. Twelve years, six thousand riders, and a range designed for one purpose: making mistakes safely until you stop making them.
- ✓Certified instructors, every one a daily rider
- ✓6:1 student-to-coach cap — half the industry norm
- ✓Training bikes and helmets included in every beginner course
From First Start-Up to Full License
Nevada's process, handled — we coach the skills and file the completion so the DMV visit is just paperwork.
Gear Up & Ground School
Controls, balance, and the physics of two wheels — taught standing next to the bike before anyone rides it.
Range Days
Clutch control, braking, cornering, and swerves — drilled in closed-course circuits with a coach on every corner.
The Skills Check
Pass our course evaluation and most insurers discount you — and the DMV skills test is waived or rehearsed to a formality.
First Real Rides
Graduates join our coached group rides — easy desert loops where new skills meet real wind, traffic, and glory.

Riding Is Risk. Training Is How You Price It.
We won't tell you motorcycles are safe — we'll tell you the crash data rewards trained riders, dramatically. Braking distance, hazard scanning, and cornering discipline aren't talents; they're drills. Our job is making the difference between a close call and a bad day into muscle memory before the road tests you on it.
- ✓Emergency braking practiced at real speeds
- ✓Hazard drills built from actual Vegas crash patterns
- ✓Gear guidance with no shop commissions behind it
What's Included, What to Bring
Training Bikes Provided
Light, forgiving 300cc trainers for beginner courses — drop one and it's our problem, not yours. Ride your own bike in advanced clinics.
Helmets & Gloves on Us
DOT helmets and gloves available free in every size. Bring boots that cover the ankle and long sleeves — that part's on you.
Dawn & Evening Sessions
Summer courses run at first light and after sunset, because nobody learns anything at 3 PM in July in Vegas.
Completion Filed for You
Course completions go straight into the state system — most graduates skip the DMV skills test entirely.
Why Our Riders Ride for Decades
Slow Is Smooth, Smooth Is Fast
Low-speed mastery first — clutch, balance, and full-lock turns. The rider who owns a parking lot owns the canyon later.
Eyes Write the Line
Vision drills in every course, because the bike goes where you look. It's the closest thing riding has to a superpower.
Graduate Into a Crew
Free monthly group rides for alumni, led by coaches. The first year of riding decides the next thirty — nobody does it alone here.
Asked Before the First Range Day
I've never touched a motorcycle. Am I really ready for a course?
That's exactly who the Beginner Rider Course is for. Day one starts with the engine off — balance, controls, and walking the bike — and builds in steps so small you'll never feel thrown in. Most first-timers are riding circuits by the first afternoon.
Does the course get me my motorcycle license?
Completing our beginner course lets most Nevada riders skip the DMV skills test — you finish, we file it, you take the written test and ride out licensed. We'll confirm the current DMV process when you book.
What if I drop the bike?
Someone in every class does, at walking pace, onto crash bars designed for it. Training bikes are ours to fix and yours to learn on — no damage charges for honest training drops.
Is it too hot to learn in summer?
We run dawn and evening sessions June through September, with shade, water, and heat-management breaks built into the schedule. The Night & Heat clinic exists because summer riding here is a skill of its own.
Can I bring my own motorcycle?
For advanced clinics, absolutely — that's the point. For beginner courses we insist on our trainers: they're lighter, they're insured for it, and your future bike deserves a rider who already knows how to ride.
What does a course cost?
Priced in line with other state-approved Nevada providers — beginner weekends midrange, advanced single days less, private coaching hourly. Current pricing comes with the course-date text, and completion often earns an insurance discount that softens it.
