Formula Racing School in Georgia
Formula cars, race licenses, and wheel-to-wheel craft on one of the South's great road courses — from your first flying lap to your first checkered flag.
Where Racers Are Made
Our formula fleet, the pit lane, and fourteen seasons of first checkered flags.

Pick Your Ladder Rung
Every program includes the car, the gear, the coaching, and the data — you bring the commitment.

Built by Racers Who Teach. Not Teachers Who Raced Once.
Callaghan's instructor bench is all active or recently retired professional racers — the kind who can still show you the lap, not just describe it. The method is old-school in the right ways: small groups, a coach per car cluster, data debriefs after every session, and standards that don't bend for a paying customer's ego. Racing is dangerous enough taught properly. We teach it properly.
- ✓Instructors with professional race résumés
- ✓Video + data debrief after every session
- ✓Fleet maintained by our own race shop
The Three Days That Change Your License
The formula school, session by session — dense, structured, and unforgettable.
Day One: The Car
Seat fit, controls, and the ergonomics of speed — then lead-follow laps until the racing line lives in your hands.
Day Two: The Limit
Threshold braking, trail braking, and slip angle — solo sessions with data debriefs that show exactly where the time hides.
Day Three: The Race
Standing starts, drafting, and passing drills — ending in a graded race simulation with the full group.
After: The License
Graduates leave license-eligible, with our signature on the paperwork and a path onto a club racing grid.
Every Program Includes
The Race Car
Formula or GT, prepared by our race shop, insured for instruction — you'll never rent a trailer to learn to race.
Suit, Helmet & HANS
Full current-spec safety gear in every size, laundered and inspected. Bring shoes that fit a pedal box; we handle the rest.
Data & Video, Every Lap
Telemetry overlays and onboard footage reviewed with your coach — improvement you can watch, keep, and quietly rewatch forever.
Small Grids, Real Standards
Capped groups and earned progression. You advance when the data says so — which is why our incident record stays boring.

From This Page to a Club Racing Grid in One Season.
The route is shorter than most drivers think: our accredited three-day school makes you license-eligible, the race-craft course makes you grid-ready, and our alumni club races put you on track with people you trained beside. Fourteen years of graduates have worn the path smooth — four hundred licenses and counting.
- ✓Accredited school — license-eligible on completion
- ✓Race-craft graduate course for grid readiness
- ✓Alumni racing club with arrive-and-drive seats
Why Our Graduates Race for Decades
01Craft Before Courage
Bravery is cheap; precision is trained. We build the braking, vision, and car control first — the speed arrives on its own.
02The Data Is the Coach
Every session ends at the telemetry screen. Feelings lie at 130 mph; the overlay never does.
03Racecraft Is Respect
Passing clean, defending fair, and racing the long game — the ethics that keep club grids fun and insurance affordable.
Asked Before the First Green Flag
Do I need racing experience to start?
None. The three-day formula school assumes only a road license and reasonable fitness. Track-day veterans and sim racers progress faster through the early sessions, but the curriculum builds everyone to the same standard by day three.
How real is the race license?
Completely — our school is accredited, and graduates leave license-eligible for club racing sanctioning bodies. We sign the paperwork, walk you through the application, and our alumni club has grids waiting.
What does the three-day school cost?
Comparable to other accredited formula schools — a serious investment that includes the car, gear, coaching, data, and license paperwork. Exact current pricing comes with program dates; payment plans split it across the season.
What if I damage the car?
Instruction includes damage coverage with a capped excess — clearly stated before you sign, never a surprise after. Our progression standards exist precisely so incidents stay rare; the excess has been charged four times in fourteen years.
How fit do I need to be?
If you can manage a flight of stairs and a summer afternoon, you can manage the school — we build cockpit time gradually. Wheel-to-wheel racing rewards fitness, and we'll give graduates an honest training steer.
Is the karting ladder just for kids?
Mostly ages 10–17, but adult karting cohorts run twice a year — it remains the cheapest way ever invented to learn racecraft, at any age.
