Lowden began in 2020 with one small truck and a stack of mini dumpsters, after our founder watched a neighbor pay for a 20-yard to throw out a bathroom's worth of tile. Most home projects fill a few pickup loads, not a truck's worth. So we only rent small ones — 6, 8 and 10 yards — delivered by trucks light enough for older driveways and narrow enough for townhouse lanes. You pay for the size of the job, not the size of the dumpster.

When The Big Ones Said No
Our townhouse driveway is shorter than a car. Two other companies said they couldn't fit a dumpster. Lowden backed a little one in beside the garage, and we cleared out the whole basement in a weekend.
I only had a bathroom's worth of tile and drywall. The 6-yard was exactly right and cost half what a big one would have.
They set it on boards under the tree without touching a branch. Picked up on the day I asked. Easy.
