Hoopla started in 2018 when our founder threw a friend's 40th, got asked to do four more, and realised nobody in Austin was doing proper party planning at a price a normal family could actually pay.
Eight years and six hundred parties later that is still the whole idea. We are not a luxury wedding studio doing parties on the side. Parties are the entire job — which means we are fast, we are used to real budgets, and we know exactly which corners are safe to cut and which ones ruin the night.

Styling Only
You have the venue, the food and the guest list handled. We design the look, build it on the day and take it down after. Best for parties where the setting is already sorted.
Party Planning
The most popular one. We handle venue, food, drinks, entertainment, styling and the running order, and we are there on the day. You approve things and then enjoy yourself.
The Whole Hoopla
Everything above plus invitations, a photographer, a custom cake, favours and a next-morning cleanup. For the birthdays and send-offs that only happen once.

Our quote includes delivery, setup, staffing and takedown. The number you approve is the number you pay — no day-of extras appearing on the invoice.
We can move fast
Three weeks is enough for most parties. If your date is sooner than that, call us anyway — we keep a little room in the calendar for exactly this.
We clean up
Every package includes takedown. You wake up the next morning to your house or your venue the way you left it, not to forty bin bags.
We work around the guest of honour
If the party is a surprise, we plan around them. If it is their party, we ask them what they actually want rather than what looks good on a mood board.
Your House Is a Better Venue Than You Think
The most common thing we hear is "our place isn't big enough." It almost always is — it just isn't laid out for a party.
We come look at your space, then design around it: where the bar goes so people don't bottleneck in the kitchen, how to light a yard so it feels like a room after dark, which furniture leaves and which stays, and how to seat sixty people somewhere you assumed held thirty.
Then we build it on the day and put your house back the next morning. Home parties are cheaper than venues, warmer than venues, and nobody has to be out by eleven.

Things People Ask Before Booking
How much does a party actually cost?
It comes down to headcount, food and drink more than anything else. A styled backyard party for 30 is a very different number from a 100-person milestone with catering and a band. Tell us the headcount and what you'd like to spend and we'll tell you honestly what's possible — before you spend time on a quote.
How far ahead should we book?
Six to eight weeks is comfortable. Three weeks is doable for most parties, and we deliberately keep some room in the calendar for last-minute ones. Peak season here is October through December, so book earlier if your date lands in there.
Do you have a minimum spend?
No. We have planned parties for eight people and parties for two hundred. If the budget is genuinely too tight for us to add value, we'll tell you that on the first call rather than sell you something thin.
Can you work with our venue and caterer?
Absolutely, and we often do. If you've already booked the venue and the food, our styling-only or planning packages take it from there. We're happy to work with vendors you've chosen.
Will you be there on the day?
Yes, always. Someone from Hoopla runs every party we plan — setup, the party itself, and takedown. Whoever quoted your party is the person who runs it.
What if it rains?
For anything outdoors we build a wet-weather plan into the quote — usually a marquee hold or an indoor reconfiguration — and we make the call with you 48 hours out. It's included, not an upsell you discover on the day.
