Why Dried Flowers

We opened Brackwater in 2020 because we loved flowers but hated throwing them away a week later. Dried flowers keep their shape and color for years, need no water, and come from a much slower, less wasteful supply chain.

We air-dry stems from Oregon growers every summer and fall, and source the rest — pampas, bunny tails, palm spears — from small farms we know.

  • ✓Air-dried from Oregon growers
  • ✓No water, no wilting
  • ✓Lasts one to three years

Wedding Flowers You Keep

Dried wedding flowers don't wilt in the heat, can be made months ahead, and go home with you afterwards. We design bouquets, boutonnieres, arches and table pieces in any palette — and every couple gets a care card so the bouquet lasts for years.

  • ✓Made weeks ahead, stress-free
  • ✓Perfect in summer heat

Strong sunlight fades colors over time.

A hair dryer on the cool, low setting does the job.

Refresh, don't replace

Bring a bouquet back and we'll add new stems for a small fee.

Kind Words

Still Looking Good, Years Later

★★★★★
I bought a dried bouquet for my kitchen two years ago and it still looks exactly the same. It's become the thing everyone asks about when they come over.

Our wedding flowers are now in a shadow box on our wall. Brackwater matched our rust-and-cream palette perfectly, and nothing wilted in the August heat.

The wreath workshop was the calmest two hours of my December. Great teaching, great snacks, and I went home with something I'm genuinely proud of.

Questions

Dried Flower FAQ

How long do dried flowers last?

Usually one to three years indoors, out of direct sun and humidity. Colors soften gently over time.

Are dyed stems natural?

We use natural, bleached and dyed stems, and we always tell you which is which. If you prefer all-natural, just ask.

Do you ship?

Yes, anywhere in the US. Bouquets and wreaths are boxed with tissue and padding so they arrive intact.

Can I see the flowers before my wedding?

Yes. We make a sample bouquet for every wedding order so you can see the palette in person.

Are dried flowers safe around pets?

Some stems aren't safe if eaten. Tell us if you have cats or dogs and we'll leave those out.

Can I bring a bouquet back for a refresh?

Yes. Bring in any Brackwater piece and we'll swap tired stems for new ones for a small fee — most refreshes take about a week.
