Flowers Treated as Architecture
Maison Vellacourt was founded in 2008 as a small atelier on Peruvian Avenue. We design for the rooms our clients live and entertain in — measuring the space, studying the light, and choosing stems that will hold their shape through a long evening.
We source from local growers, the Miami flower market and specialist growers abroad, and we keep a collection of vessels, plinths and candelabra so every piece arrives complete.

Weekly Florals, Room by Room
Our residence clients receive fresh arrangements for every room each week, designed by the same lead designer who learns the house — the morning light in the breakfast room, the scale of the entry, the scents a family prefers. Arrangements are refreshed mid-week at no charge and adjusted for guests, holidays and the season.

How a Commission Comes Together
Consultation
A private meeting at the atelier or your venue to understand the occasion and the space.
Design proposal
Sketches, a stem list and a lighting note, with a detailed proposal within ten days.
Sampling
For larger commissions, a sample centerpiece or arrangement for your approval.
Installation
Installed overnight or between services, then struck and cleared when the event ends.

Before We Meet
Do you have event minimums?
Event and gala installations start at $15,000 and weddings at $25,000. Single arrangements and gifts start at $350, and weekly residence florals at $450 a week.
How far ahead should we book?
For galas and weddings in season (November to April), six to twelve months. Residence florals can usually begin within two weeks of a walkthrough.
Do you work with our planner and venue?
Always. We coordinate load-in, timings and lighting directly with your planner, venue and house manager.
Can you work discreetly in a private residence?
Yes. Our residence team works around your household staff, and our client list is never shared.
Do you travel?
We regularly work from Jupiter to Miami, and travel for destination weddings and events by arrangement.
