Cobbleford opened in 1998 with one grooming table and a lot of patience. Today the second generation runs the shop, and a lot of our clients are the grandchildren of our first ones — two-legged and four. We still groom one dog at a time, still hand-dry, still call before we shave, and still keep our prices on the wall where everyone can see them.

Full grooms are $70 for small dogs, $85 medium and $105 large. Every groom includes nails, ears and a sanitary trim.

Gentle Grooms For Older Dogs
Older dogs have stiff joints, thin skin and less patience for standing. Our senior groom works in short stretches, lets your dog lie down when they need to, and skips anything that isn't kind. Many of our clients started with us as puppies — we like seeing them through every stage.

How much does dog grooming cost in Cincinnati?
A full groom in the Cincinnati area generally runs $60–$120 depending on size and coat. Ours are $70 small, $85 medium and $105 large, including nails, ears and a sanitary trim.
Do I need an appointment?
For grooms, yes — call or send the form. Nail trims are walk-in, Tuesday to Saturday.
How long will my dog be there?
Two to three hours for most full grooms. We call as soon as your dog is ready.
How often should my dog be groomed?
Every four to eight weeks for dogs with coats that keep growing; every eight to twelve weeks for a bath and brush-out on short coats.
What if my dog is matted?
We'll show you, call you, and clip the coat short and comfortable rather than brush out tight mats.
Do you take cats?
We're a dog-only shop, but we're glad to recommend a cat groomer nearby.
