The Honest Reset
Sometimes a doodle coat is matted to the skin, and brushing it out would hurt. When that happens we'll show you, call you, and clip it short and comfortable — then plan the grow-out with you so the next cuts get closer to the look you want. It's never a punishment, and we never charge a surprise fee: the reset is quoted before we start.

How much does doodle grooming cost in Plano?
Doodle grooming usually costs more than a short-coated dog because curly coats take longer to dry and scissor. Our full grooms are $110 for minis under 30 lb, $130 up to 50 lb, $155 up to 80 lb and from $180 above that. A teddy bear face adds $15.
How often should a doodle be groomed?
Every four to six weeks for most doodles. Longer gaps usually mean matting, which means a shorter cut.
When should a doodle puppy have its first groom?
Once they're up to date on their puppy shots — often around twelve to sixteen weeks. Our puppy coat intro is for pups up to six months.
Why did my doodle get shaved at another salon?
Almost always because of matting close to the skin. Brushing tight mats out hurts, so a short reset is the kind choice. We'll show you how to stay ahead of it.
Do you groom poodles and other curly breeds?
Yes — poodles of every size, and other curly and wavy coats. Short-coated breeds we happily refer to a general salon.
What vaccinations do you need?
Rabies, DHPP and Bordetella for adult dogs; puppies up to date on their age-appropriate shots.
