Between the rain, the parks and the beaches, our dogs get dirty — and a bathtub at home is a terrible place to wash a sixty-pound retriever. Rinsewood gives you six raised tubs, warm water and everything you need, then we clean up after you. When you'd rather not do it yourself, our bathers will wash, dry and brush out your dog while you run errands.

Your First Self-Serve Wash
Walk in and check in
No appointment. We'll show you to a tub and hand you an apron and towels.
Wash with warm water
Pick a shampoo, lather, rinse. Our staff can show you around the first time.
Dry and brush
Towel off, then a low-heat dryer and a brush from the tub station.
Leave the mess
Walk out with a clean dog. We scrub and sanitize the tub after every wash.
Rather Not Get Wet?
Book a full-service bath and our bathers do it all — wash, dry, brush-out, nails and ears. From $45 for small dogs, $60 for large. A de-shed treatment adds $15.

Every dog stays leashed until they're clipped in at the tub.
Healthy dogs only
Please wash at home if your dog is sick or has a skin infection.

Dog Wash Questions
How much does a self-serve dog wash cost in Tacoma?
Self-serve dog washes generally run $15–$25 a visit. Ours is $20 for thirty minutes with everything included, $17 a wash on a ten-wash card, or $45 a month for unlimited washes.
Do I need an appointment?
Not for self-serve washes or nail trims — walk in any day from 8am to 8pm. Full-service baths are booked, Tuesday to Saturday.
What if my dog is too big to lift?
Every tub has a ramp, and our staff are happy to help guide big dogs in.
Can I wash two dogs at once?
Yes — two dogs from the same household can share a tub for an extra $8.
Do you need vaccination records?
For full-service baths, yes: rabies, DHPP and Bordetella for adult dogs, puppies up to date on age-appropriate shots. Self-serve customers keep their own dog on leash and at their own tub.
Is the dryer safe for my dog?
Our dryers are low-heat, hand-held and never left running on a dog. You stay with your dog the whole time.
