Teams & Classes

Loud, Proud And Safe In The Air
Ironbridge started in 2014 with one senior team and a borrowed spring floor. Today nine teams practice here, from tiny cheer to senior, alongside tumbling classes open to any athlete in Knoxville, school cheerleaders included. Every stunt is built in progressions with spotters in place, and no skill goes into a routine until the athlete lands it every time in practice.

What Parents Say
My daughter came in for tumbling with a shaky round-off. Two years later she has her back handspring series and a spot on a senior team. The coaches never rushed a skill, and they never let her quit on herself either.
We got the full season budget at placement, uniform and competitions included. After our last gym, that alone was worth switching for.
Prep was perfect for our first year: one competition weekend a month and plenty of time for school. She's already asking about all-star next season.
Cheer & Tumbling FAQ
What's the difference between all-star and prep?
All-star teams practice two or three times a week and travel to competitions from November to April. Prep teams practice once or twice a week and compete locally. Both learn the same safe progressions.
Does my child need tumbling to join a team?
No. Tiny and prep teams welcome beginners. Older all-star teams place athletes partly by tumbling, and our classes help them get there.
Can school cheerleaders take tumbling here?
Yes. Tumbling classes and stunt clinics are open to anyone, whatever team they cheer for.
Are your coaches certified?
Every coach is background-checked and trained in safe stunting and tumbling progressions and first aid. Ask us about each coach's certifications.
When are tryouts?
Team placements happen in May, with a second placement week in early June. Book a free evaluation any time before then.
How much does a season cost?
It depends on the team. You'll get the full season budget, including tuition, uniform, competitions and travel, in writing at placement.
