Home Care Questions Families Ask
How much does home care cost?
Our rates start at $36 an hour, with a four-hour minimum visit. Overnight and live-in care are quoted separately. We confirm your exact rate in writing after the free assessment.
How quickly can care start?
Often within a day or two of the assessment, and sooner after a hospital discharge — tell us when you call.
What if Mom doesn't click with her caregiver?
Tell your care manager and we'll introduce someone new. Getting the match right matters more than anything else we do.
Do you provide medical care?
We provide non-medical care — personal care, companionship and help around the house. We work alongside home health nurses and your doctors when they're involved.
Does Medicare pay for home care?
Medicare generally doesn't pay for non-medical home care like ours. Long-term care insurance, veterans benefits and private pay are how most families cover it — call us and we'll talk through your situation.
Is there a contract?
No long-term contract. You can change hours, pause or stop care with notice, and we'll adjust the plan whenever needs change.
