Companion Care Questions
What is companion care?
Non-medical visits focused on company, outings, errands and help around the house. If personal care like bathing is needed, just ask — we can add it.
What if Dad says he doesn't need anyone?
Very common. We often start with an outing he'll enjoy — lunch, a ballgame, the hardware store — and let the friendship do the rest.
Will it be the same person each time?
Yes. Each client has one regular companion, with a familiar back-up for vacations and sick days.
How much does companion care cost?
Our rates start at $32 an hour, with a two-hour minimum visit. You'll get your exact rate in writing before the first visit.
How often can you visit?
Anywhere from one visit a week to every day, mornings, afternoons or evenings, seven days a week.
Is there a contract?
No contract. Change the schedule, pause or stop with a week's notice.
