About Us

One Team For People At Home And On Your Floor

We started as a home care agency fourteen years ago. Then the assisted living communities and nursing homes our clients moved into began calling us whenever a shift went unfilled — so we built a staffing team. Today the same screening, training and care managers stand behind every person we send, whether it's to a kitchen in Wauwatosa or a memory care wing on a Saturday night.

Questions

Questions We Hear Most

How much does home care cost?

Our rates start at $38 an hour with a four-hour minimum visit. Overnight and 24-hour care are quoted separately, and you get your rate in writing after the free assessment.

Does Medicare pay for home care?

Medicare generally doesn't pay for non-medical home care like ours. Most families use private pay, long-term care insurance or veterans benefits, and some Wisconsin residents receive care through Medicaid long-term care programs such as Family Care or IRIS. Call us and we'll talk through your situation.

How quickly can care start?

Often within a day or two of the assessment, and sooner after a hospital discharge — tell us when you call.

What if Mom doesn't click with her caregiver?

Tell your care manager and we'll introduce someone new. Getting the match right matters more than anything else we do.

How fast can you fill a shift?

Our scheduling line is answered 24/7. We confirm every shift in writing, the same day for most requests, and keep a short list of staff who already know your floor.

Are your staff employees or contractors?

Employees. We handle their payroll, taxes, workers' comp and liability insurance, so you get one invoice and none of the employer paperwork.

What do you check before someone works a shift?

A background check and references for everyone, plus an active license or registry listing, a current TB test and CPR for every clinical role. Copies are available for your records.

Can we hire one of your aides permanently?

Yes. Temp-to-hire is welcome, and the conversion terms are spelled out in our staffing agreement.
