Just Neighbors, Organized
Quillfield Park Neighborhood Association started in 1985 when a few families got together to save the park's old oak trees. We're still all volunteers. Membership is open to anyone who lives or owns a home in Quillfield Park, and dues are voluntary — nobody is ever turned away from a meeting or an event. An elected board of neighbors keeps things running between the monthly meetings.

Why People Show Up
We moved here in March and someone from the association knocked with a welcome bag and the meeting schedule. By June we were running the lemonade stand at the porch fest.
The streetlight on our block was out for a month. I mentioned it at the Monday meeting, the association sent it to the city with photos, and it was fixed that week.
I got a garden plot after a year on the waitlist. Now I know half the street by their tomatoes.

Questions Neighbors Ask
Is this an HOA?
No. We're a voluntary neighborhood association — there are no required fees, no rules about your house and no fines. We organize events, look after shared spaces and speak up for the neighborhood with the city.
Who can join?
Anyone who lives in, rents in or owns a home in Quillfield Park. Membership dues are voluntary, and everyone is welcome at meetings and events whether they've paid or not.
What do the dues pay for?
Event supplies, trees and plants for the park, the garden's water and tools, and printing the newsletter. The treasurer reports on the budget at the January meeting.
How do I get a garden plot?
Join the waitlist through the form below. Plots are assigned each spring, and returning gardeners get first pick of their bed.
Can you fix a pothole or a streetlight?
We can't fix them ourselves, but we can report them to the city with photos and follow up until they're done.
