About Hearth & Honed

Two Rooms, Done Exceptionally

Hearth & Honed was founded on a deliberate decision to do two things and do them exceptionally: kitchens and baths. They are the hardest rooms in a home to get right — the most technical, the most used, and the most likely to make or break how a house feels to live in — and after fourteen years and six hundred of them, there is very little we haven't solved. That focus is our whole advantage. We know which layouts actually work for the way people cook and gather. We know the stone that stains and the stone that doesn't, the cabinet joinery that lasts and the kind that sags, the lighting that flatters and the plumbing that won't disappoint in five years. We design beautifully, source honestly, and build with true craftsmanship — and because it's all we do, the process is calm and confident from the first drawing to the final fixture. The result is the two rooms you use most, made into the two you love most.

  • Kitchens and baths only — deep, focused expertise
  • 600+ rooms and fourteen years of solved problems
  • Honest materials and furniture-grade craftsmanship
  • Designed for how you actually live, not just photos
Why Clients Choose Us

The Advantage of Focus

What it means to have a dedicated kitchen and bath studio do your remodel.

Two Rooms, Total Focus

We do only kitchens and baths. That focus means we've solved your problem before — many times over.

Materials That Last

We know which stone, cabinetry, and fixtures hold up to real daily use, and we only specify what does.

Layouts That Work

The best kitchens and baths are engineered, not just decorated. We get flow, storage, and light right first.

True Craftsmanship

Furniture-grade cabinetry and impeccable stone and tile work, by trades we've built relationships with for years.

A Clean, Managed Build

We run the whole remodel — trades, orders, timeline — cleanly and on schedule, so your home stays livable.

Built to Outlast Trends

We design for the long view. Our kitchens and baths look as good in ten years as the day they're finished.

Three Things We Promise

For the two rooms you use most, homeowners across the Front Range trust Hearth & Honed.

1

Function First, Always

A kitchen or bath has to work before it can be beautiful. We engineer the layout and storage, then make it stunning.

2

Only Materials That Last

We've seen what fails. We specify the stone, cabinetry, and fixtures that hold up to a lifetime of daily use.

3

A Build You Can Trust

Fourteen years of doing only this means a clean, managed, on-schedule remodel — and no unpleasant surprises.

The Rooms Where Details Are Everything

Nowhere in a home do the details matter more than in a kitchen and a bath. These are rooms of hard surfaces and running water, of daily wear and close inspection, where a beautiful idea lives or dies on how it's actually built. That is exactly why we love them. We obsess over the things you'll touch every day: the exact overhang of a stone counter, the soft close of a drawer, the grout line that stays clean, the brass that patinas rather than peels, the light that falls where you need it. We choose materials for how they perform as much as how they look, and we hold our trades to a furniture-grade standard, because in these two rooms there is nowhere for a shortcut to hide. Get the details right, and you get a kitchen and a bath that are still a quiet pleasure to use a decade later. Get them wrong, and you're reminded every single day. We make sure it's the former.

  • Materials chosen for daily performance, not just looks
  • Furniture-grade cabinetry and impeccable stone work
  • Every touchpoint considered, down to the drawer
  • A quiet pleasure to use a decade later
Clients We've Designed For

Words From Our Clients

Our kitchen was the dark, closed-off heart of a 1970s house, and now it's the room we can't leave. Hearth & Honed reworked the entire layout, opened it to the light, and chose materials that are as practical as they are beautiful. Two years of daily cooking later, it still looks flawless and works even better. They think about how you actually use a kitchen, not just how it photographs.
Ellen & Rob MarshKitchen Remodel · Wash Park
We'd been quoted by three remodelers who treated our bathroom like a commodity. Hearth & Honed treated it like design. The result is a primary bath that feels like a spa — honed stone, warm brass, perfect lighting, and storage we didn't know we could fit. They managed the whole build cleanly and finished on schedule. It's the nicest room in our home now.
Priya RamanPrimary Bath Remodel · Cherry Creek
Hearth & Honed did our kitchen and both bathrooms, and the craftsmanship is a different level from anything we've experienced. The cabinetry is furniture-grade, the stone work is impeccable, and every detail was considered. Fourteen years of doing only kitchens and baths clearly shows — they've solved every problem before, and it makes the whole process calm and confident.

Good Questions

Kitchen & Bath Questions, Answered

Do you only do kitchens and baths?

Yes, entirely — and it's our biggest advantage. Kitchens and baths are the most technical, most used, and most unforgiving rooms in a home, and by focusing only on them for fourteen years we've solved nearly every problem they can present. When your remodel is all a studio does, you get expertise, confidence, and a smoother build than a generalist can offer. We happily coordinate with your architect or designer on larger projects.

Do you handle the whole remodel, or just design?

The whole thing, and most clients want it that way. We design the space, select every material and fixture, and manage the entire build — cabinetry, stone, plumbing, electrical, tile, and every trade. One accountable studio from first drawing to final fixture means the design actually gets built as drawn, and nothing gets lost in a handoff. We can also do design-only where you have a builder in place.

How long does a kitchen or bath remodel take?

It depends on scope, but as a rough guide: a bathroom typically runs several weeks of construction after design, and a full kitchen a couple of months, with design and material lead times ahead of that. Custom cabinetry and stone take time to do properly. We give you a realistic schedule up front, phase the work to keep your home as usable as possible, and keep you updated throughout.

How is your pricing structured?

After an initial consultation we provide a clear proposal — a design fee based on scope, plus transparent tracking of all cabinetry, stone, fixture, and construction costs in your project budget. For smaller needs we offer hourly consultation. Kitchens and baths are an investment, and we're candid about numbers from the first conversation, so there are never surprises.

Can you work with our budget?

We work across a range of budgets and are honest from the start about what's realistic for your goals. In kitchens and baths especially, spending well matters more than spending the most — the right layout and the durable materials are where the value is. We'll help you invest where it counts and save where it doesn't, so your budget delivers a room that lasts.

Do you work outside Denver?

Denver and the Front Range are our home — Cherry Creek to the Highlands to Boulder — but we take on select projects further out for the right fit. If you love our work and you're within reach, reach out; there's a good chance we can help.
