Bespoke Interior Design in Beverly Hills
Maison Solenne is a bespoke interior design atelier creating singular, exquisitely crafted residences across Beverly Hills and Bel Air — from the first concept to the final placed object.

Not Decorated. Authored.
At the highest level, interior design stops being decoration and becomes authorship. A truly singular residence is not assembled from a showroom; it is composed — every proportion considered, every material chosen for its own sake, every object placed with intention, much of it made expressly for the room it lives in and no other. That is the only way Maison Solenne has ever worked. For twenty years, from our atelier in Beverly Hills, we have created bespoke residences for a small, discerning clientele who want something that exists nowhere else. We commission furniture and millwork from the finest makers, source art and antiques with an eye built over decades, and compose it all with the restraint and confidence that separate a beautiful room from an extraordinary one. We work in the great tradition of the atelier — few clients, deep relationships, obsessive craft, and total discretion — and we manage every project with a white-glove hand, protecting our clients' time and holding every trade to a standard most never encounter. The result is a home that feels inevitable and timeless, that will look as exquisite in thirty years as on the day it was finished, and that is, unmistakably and only, yours. In a world of the mass-produced and the merely expensive, that is the rarest luxury of all, and it is the only thing we make.
- ✓Authorship, not decoration — singular by design
- ✓Bespoke furniture and millwork by master makers
- ✓Art and antiques sourced by a decades-trained eye

Three Beliefs of the Atelier
For residences of singular quality, the most discerning clients in Beverly Hills come to Maison Solenne.
Bespoke Over Bought
The finest rooms are composed, not purchased. We commission and source so your home exists nowhere else.
Timeless Over Trend
We author residences meant to feel as extraordinary in thirty years as today. Fashion fades; craft endures.
The Few, Done Fully
We accept a limited number of projects a year so each receives the atelier's complete attention and craft.

The Rarest Luxury Is the Thing That Exists Only Once
At a certain level, expense stops being the measure of luxury. Anyone with means can buy the same celebrated sofa, the same coveted light, the same marble as everyone else with means; the mass-produced and the merely expensive are, by definition, shared. The true luxury — the one that cannot be bought off any shelf at any price — is singularity: a thing that exists only once, made for you and for no one else. That is the whole reason the bespoke atelier exists, and it is what Maison Solenne makes. When we commission a piece of furniture from a master maker for a specific wall, source an antique with a history and compose it just so, or design millwork that could belong to no other room, we are creating something the world contains exactly one of. A residence built this way isn't a collection of expensive objects; it is a singular work, authored, that reflects its owner and no catalogue. It also happens to endure, because things made with this much intention and craft are not subject to the churn of trend. Our clients could buy anything. What they come to us for is the one thing money alone cannot deliver — a home that is entirely, unrepeatably theirs. In our view, that is the highest form of luxury there is, and creating it is the only work the atelier does.
- ✓Singularity is the luxury money can't shortcut
- ✓Commissioned and sourced to exist only once
- ✓A residence that is authored, not assembled
- ✓Made with the intention that lets it endure

A Privilege, Beginning to End
Maison Solenne created our home in Bel Air over two years and it is, without exaggeration, a work of art we live inside. Every surface, every object, every proportion was considered and bespoke — the millwork, the commissioned pieces, the art, the way the light moves through the rooms. They operate at a level of taste and craft I've only otherwise seen in the finest hotels and private collections in the world, and the white-glove management meant we never lifted a finger. It is the most beautiful thing we own. Utterly worth it.
We have homes designed by well-known names, and Maison Solenne is the finest of them. Their eye for art and antiques is extraordinary — they sourced pieces we could never have found and composed them with a restraint and confidence that is genuinely rare. The bespoke furniture they commissioned for us is museum-grade. This is not decorating; it is authorship at the highest level, and the discretion and management were flawless throughout. We would not use anyone else, and we have recommended them to only our closest friends.
Maison Solenne took our Trousdale residence down to the studs and delivered something singular — a turnkey renovation of impeccable quality where every detail, seen and unseen, was executed to perfection. They managed an extraordinarily complex project with total calm and discretion, protected our time entirely, and held every trade to their exacting standard. The result is timeless rather than trendy, and it will look as extraordinary in thirty years as it does today. Working with them was a privilege from beginning to end.

On Working With the Atelier
What does 'bespoke' interior design actually mean here?
It means your residence is authored, not assembled. Rather than furnishing rooms from showrooms and catalogues, we commission furniture and millwork from master makers expressly for your home, source art and antiques individually, and compose everything so the result exists nowhere else in the world. Bespoke is not a marketing word for us; it is the entire method. A great deal of what ends up in your residence is made for the specific room it lives in and no other, which is precisely what makes the home singular — and why it looks and feels unlike anything that can be bought off a shelf at any price.
Do you take on full residences, or individual rooms?
Primarily full residences and substantial commissions, where we can author the whole and control the quality end to end — that is where the atelier does its finest work. That said, for the right project and client we will take on a singular room or a specific commission, such as a library, a primary suite, or a bespoke furniture and art program. Because we accept only a limited number of projects each year in order to give each our complete attention, we are candid early about whether a given scope is one we can serve at the standard we hold ourselves to.
How involved will I need to be in the process?
As involved, or as unburdened, as you wish. Many of our clients are extraordinarily busy and value that our white-glove management protects their time almost entirely — we handle the makers, the trades, the sourcing, the logistics, and the thousand decisions, bringing you in only for the moments that genuinely warrant your eye. Others enjoy the creative journey and are involved throughout. Either way, the process is unhurried and discreet, designed around your life rather than the reverse, and you are never left managing the complexity yourself. The point of the atelier is that the burden is ours and the pleasure is yours.
How long does a residence take, and what does it cost?
A singular residence is not a quick undertaking; bespoke commissions, sourced antiques, and impeccable craft take the time they take, often a year or more for a full home, because we will not rush the things that make it extraordinary. On investment, work at this level is bespoke by definition and priced accordingly; after an initial private conversation about scope and ambition we provide a clear framework, with full transparency throughout. Our clients are not seeking the least expensive option — they are seeking the finest and the most singular, and we are candid from the first meeting about what that requires.
Will my privacy be protected?
Absolutely, and it is fundamental to how we operate. Discretion is a requirement of the clientele we serve, and we treat it as sacrosanct — confidentiality about who our clients are, where they live, and what we create for them is upheld at every stage, by us and by every maker and trade we engage. The residences in our portfolio are shared only with permission and with care. When you work with the atelier, you can be confident that your home, your identity, and the details of the commission remain entirely private, now and always. It is one of the reasons our clients come to us by referral and stay with us for life.
What areas do you serve?
Our atelier is in Beverly Hills, and we create residences across the finest neighborhoods of the Westside — Beverly Hills, Bel Air, Holmby Hills, Trousdale, Malibu, and the Pacific Palisades — where most of our clients' homes are. For a commission of the right scale and spirit, we are glad to travel; we have authored residences for clients well beyond Los Angeles when the project warranted it. If you are creating something singular, wherever it is, and our work resonates with you, we would welcome a private conversation to explore whether the atelier is the right fit.
