What Goes In (and What Doesn't)
Great For Most Debris
Furniture, construction debris, roofing, drywall, flooring, yard waste, and general household junk.
Heavy Material? Size Down
Concrete, brick, dirt, and shingles are heavy — a 10 or 15-yard is usually the right call. We'll advise.
A Few Things Can't Go In
No hazardous waste, wet paint, chemicals, tires, or appliances with refrigerant. Ask us where those go.
Generous Weight Allowance
Every flat rate includes tonnage. We tell you the limit up front so there's never a surprise overage.
Booked Once, Booked for Good
Ordered a 20-yard for a full roof tear-off and it was in my driveway the next morning. Driver placed it exactly where I asked, on boards so it didn't mark the concrete. Picked up the day I called. Flawless.
We rented a 30-yard for a basement-to-attic cleanout. The flat-rate price was exactly what they quoted — no surprise tonnage fees like the last company hit us with. Will only use Ironside now.
Needed a 10-yard for a concrete patio demo. They knew exactly which size handles heavy material and walked me through the weight limit so I didn't overload it. Real expertise, not just a drop-and-go.
Everything You Need to Know Before You Book
How much does it cost to rent a dumpster in Columbus?
We charge one flat rate that includes delivery, pickup, the rental period, and a generous weight allowance. Price depends on the size you choose — a 10-yard is our most affordable, scaling up to the 40-yard. You'll get an exact quote before you book, with no hidden tonnage fees.
What size dumpster do I need?
A 10–15 yard suits small cleanouts and heavy materials like concrete; a 20-yard handles most roofing jobs and large cleanouts; 30–40 yards are for major renovations and construction. Not sure? Tell us your project and we'll recommend the right size — we never upsell.
How long can I keep the dumpster?
Our standard rental period covers most projects, and we're flexible. Keep it as long as your job runs — if you need extra days or a swap-out, just call and we'll handle it.
Where will you place the dumpster?
Wherever you point — a driveway, side yard, or jobsite. We set every roll-off on protective boards so it won't mark or crack your concrete or asphalt. If you need street placement, we'll let you know if a permit is required.
Do I need a permit?
Not for a private driveway or yard. If the dumpster has to sit on a public street, the city may require a permit — we'll tell you up front and point you to exactly how to get one in your area.
What can't go in the dumpster?
No hazardous materials (wet paint, chemicals, asbestos), tires, or appliances containing refrigerant. Everything else — construction debris, furniture, household junk, yard waste — is fair game. Ask us if you're unsure about a specific item.
