Who We Are

Charlotte's Commercial Decommission Crew

When a business moves, closes, or renovates, someone has to deal with everything left behind — floors of furniture, walls of shelving, a kitchen of equipment — and a landlord expecting the space back broom-clean by a hard date. It's a logistical headache on top of an already stressful transition, and it's exactly the headache Clearfloor exists to remove for the businesses of greater Charlotte.

For ten years we've decommissioned offices, retail spaces, and restaurants across the region — over nineteen hundred of them. We work after hours and on weekends so your operation isn't disrupted, scope the job tightly so we hit your lease deadline, and clear everything: office furniture and cubicles, retail fixtures and signage, restaurant FF&E, appliances, equipment, and junk. Usable items are donated or resold and metal and e-waste are recycled, so less goes to the landfill and your closure does some good. We carry full insurance with certificates ready for your landlord and file, document the cleanout, and hand the space back empty and broom-clean, move-out ready. Whether it's a single suite or a multi-floor headquarters, we make the teardown the easy part of your move. One call, one accountable partner, one clean space handed back on time.

Commercial Cleanout FAQ

Can you work around our operation and lease deadline?

Yes — that's core to what we do. We work after hours and on weekends so your team keeps working and your final days in the space aren't disrupted, and we scope the job tightly against your lease hand-back date so we finish on time. Move-out deadlines are firm and often costly to miss, so hitting them is central to how we plan every decommission. Tell us your deadline and constraints up front, and we'll build the crew size and schedule around them. Zero disruption to your operation, and the space cleared when you need it.

What do you remove in a decommission?

Essentially everything left in the space: office furniture, cubicles, workstations, desks, chairs, conference tables, and filing systems; retail shelving, gondolas, racks, counters, and signage; restaurant booths, tables, kitchen equipment, and walk-in shelving; break-room and commercial appliances; office equipment; and general junk and debris. If it needs to come out before you hand back the space, we clear it. We'll scope it all in a walkthrough so the bid is complete and there are no surprises. One crew, one call, the whole space emptied.

Are you insured and COI-ready?

Fully. We carry commercial general liability and workers' compensation coverage and can provide certificates of insurance naming your company, ownership entity, or landlord as required — often a condition of working in commercial buildings. Our crews are professional and badge-and-protocol friendly for secured properties, and we document the cleanout for your lease file. For facilities managers and business owners with a hard hand-back requirement, that insurance and paperwork are the baseline, and we make them easy to provide up front.

What happens to the furniture and fixtures?

We donate, resell, and recycle before anything goes to the landfill. Usable office furniture, retail fixtures, and restaurant equipment are donated to charities or resold where there's value; metal, electronics, and cardboard are recycled; and only what truly can't be reused is disposed of. It means your closure or move does some good, keeps material out of the landfill, and often reflects well on your company's sustainability commitments. We'll handle the sorting and logistics — you just get a cleared space and, where applicable, documentation of the donations.

Do you handle retail and restaurant teardowns too?

Yes — offices, retail, and restaurants are all core to our work. For retail we clear shelving, gondolas, racks, checkout counters, signage, and stockroom fixtures for relocations and closures, often overnight so no selling day is lost. For restaurants we handle full FF&E teardowns — booths, tables, kitchen equipment, walk-in shelving, and decor — coordinating with your lease timeline. Whatever the commercial space, we scope it, clear it fast around your schedule, and hand it back move-out ready. Charlotte businesses of every kind use us for exactly this.

How do we get a bid?

Call (704) 555-0187 or send your space and timeline details through the form, and we'll set up a walkthrough. We'll scope the furniture, fixtures, and equipment, discuss after-hours scheduling and your lease deadline, and deliver a clear written bid with pricing and timeline. There's no obligation. Once you approve it, we schedule the crews around your operation and clear the space on time, leaving it broom-clean and move-out ready with documentation. One accountable partner to make your decommission the easy part of the move.
