How A Drop-Off Goes

1

Bring Any Bag

No need to sort it first. Tell us if anything must not go in the dryer and that is the whole conversation.

2

Weighed And Priced

On the counter scale while you wait. You know the number before you hand it over.

3

Washed On Its Own

Sorted by hand, run alone from wash to dry, dried to the label rather than one setting for everything.

4

Text, Then Collect

A message the moment it is folded. In before 9am means ready after 5pm the same day.

A Counter, Not A Coin Floor

Sableridge has no self-service machines at all. Everything that happens here happens behind the counter, which is an unusual choice and the reason the rest of it works.

No Machines To Compete For

Because the floor is not open to self-service, every machine is available for drop-off work all day. That is what makes a nine o'clock cutoff for same-day turnaround an actual promise rather than a hope.

One Rate, Because There Is One Job

We do not have to price around a coin floor, so sorting, detergent and folding are all inside the per-pound number. Nobody here has ever added a line item at collection.

Your Bag Runs Alone

Every order gets its own machine from wash through dry. It is slower and it is the only way to promise that what comes back is exactly what went in — which for uniform crews is the whole service.

First Bag

Ten Pounds, Half Price, No Sign-Up

Bring a bag in and see what comes back. If it is not folded better than you would have done it yourself, we will not charge you for it at all.

What The Counter Hears

I drop two bags on my way to work and they are folded and waiting when I finish. It has quietly become the best twenty dollars I spend each week.
Loretta SimkissSherman Hill
Eleven uniforms a week for our crew. They come back pressed, sorted by name, and in nine months not one shirt has gone missing or come back to the wrong person.
Gideon VasarhelyiContractor, Windsor Heights
The prepaid card works out cheaper and means I never fumble for a payment at the counter. Hand it over, hand it back, done in about ninety seconds.

Three Things Crews Ask About First

01

Do They Come Back To The Right Person

Every garment is tagged at intake and returned on a hanger with the name on it. In nine years the only mix-ups have been between two people with the same surname, which is now handled with initials.

02

Can You Get Site Dirt Out

Usually, and we will tell you when we cannot before we charge you. Oil, concrete dust and paint all need different treatment and a hot wash on its own — which is possible here because your load never shares a machine.

03

What Does It Cost A Week

Most crews of six to ten land between $180 and $320 a month on a weekly schedule, invoiced once. We will quote against your actual garment count rather than a headline rate.

Before You Drop Off

Is $1.65 really all of it?

For a normal wash, yes. Sorting, detergent, drying and folding are all inside that number. The only things priced separately are bedding and bulky items, which go per item, and hand-wash delicates. Nobody has ever had a line item added at collection.

How much is ten pounds?

About a bin bag and a half, or roughly four normal home loads. A week for one person usually comes in just over the minimum; for a couple it is comfortably above it.

Are the prepaid cards worth it?

If you drop off more than twice a month, yes — 60 lb costs $90 instead of $99, it never expires, and it is transferable. It also takes about a minute off the counter, which is the part regulars actually like.

What does same-day actually mean?

In before nine in the morning, ready after five the same day. We can promise it because there are no self-service machines competing for the floor — every machine here is available for drop-off work all day.

What if I drop off on Saturday?

We are closed Sunday, so a Saturday drop-off is ready Monday afternoon. If you need it for Sunday, bring it in by nine on Saturday and we will get it back to you before we close at five.

Is my laundry washed with other people's?

Never. Every order runs alone from wash through dry. It is the slower way to do it and it is the reason uniform crews use us — what comes back is exactly what went in, every time.

Can I use my own detergent?

Bring it in and we will use it, and note it on your file for next time. We keep fragrance-free and hypoallergenic on hand at no extra cost if you would rather not carry your own.
