From Church Office to Coaching Office
For fourteen years I served on staff at a Tulsa church, first leading small groups and later overseeing care ministry. Again and again I sat with people who loved God and felt stuck — in a job, a marriage, a season that had outlasted its welcome. Prayer mattered. So did a plan.
I became a certified coach in 2014 to offer both. My clients come from many churches and traditions; what they share is a desire to live what they believe.

Ministry is lonely work. Leader coaching gives pastors, church staff and ministry volunteers a confidential space outside the church walls to think clearly, set healthy rhythms and lead from rest instead of exhaustion.
Many churches cover coaching for their staff; I'm happy to talk with your elders or board about how that could work.

Questions You Might Have
Do I have to be a Christian to work with you?
No. My coaching is shaped by my faith, and most clients share it, but anyone is welcome. We'll only bring faith into sessions as much as you'd like.
Is this the same as Christian counseling?
No. Coaching is forward-looking and practical. I'm not a licensed counselor, and if you're facing depression, trauma or crisis, I'll help you find a licensed Christian counselor.
Which denominations do you work with?
All of them. Clients come from Baptist, Methodist, Catholic, non-denominational and many other traditions.
Can our church pay for coaching?
Yes. Many churches cover ministry leader coaching, and I can invoice the church directly.
Do you meet in person?
Yes, in the Brookside office, or by video for clients anywhere in the country.
Will what I share go any further?
No — what you share stays private, except where someone's safety is at risk or a court or the law requires otherwise. I'll explain these limits at our first call.
