My own divorce, fifteen years ago, was expensive, slow and lonely. I had a good attorney, but nobody helped me with everything else: the decisions, the paperwork, the kids' questions, the nights I couldn't sleep.

Do I need a divorce coach if I have an attorney?
They do different jobs. Your attorney handles the law. I help with the decisions, organization and emotions around it, which can help your legal time go further.
Is what I share private?
What you share stays private, except where someone's safety is at risk or a court or the law requires otherwise. Coaching isn't covered by legal privilege — I'll explain what that means on our first call.
Can you coach me if I'm not sure I want a divorce?
Absolutely. Decision coaching is for exactly that, and some clients decide to stay and work on the marriage.
Can we meet by video?
Yes. Most sessions are by video; Charlotte clients can also meet in SouthPark.
What if my spouse and I want to co-parent better?
Co-parenting coaching can include both of you. I stay neutral and focus on what works for your children.
Can you tell me what I'm entitled to?
No — that's legal advice, and only an attorney can give it. I can help you prepare the right questions for yours.
