Private Life Coach in Charleston
Discreet, deeply personal coaching for accomplished people navigating what comes next.

A Quiet Practice for Big Decisions
Maren works with a small number of clients at a time — founders after an exit, physicians and attorneys rethinking their careers, people whose lives look settled from the outside and feel unsettled within. The work is unhurried, private and practical.
Before coaching she spent a decade in hospitality leadership in Charleston's historic hotels, where discretion and anticipating what people need before they ask were the whole job.
- Boutiquepractice of eight clients
- Hospitalityleadership for a decade

In Their Words
I came to Maren at the top of my career and the bottom of my energy. Six months later I had restructured my role, reclaimed my evenings and started the foundation I'd talked about for a decade. She is calm, precise and utterly unflappable.
The VIP Day did in six hours what I'd been circling for a year. I left Wentworth Street with a decision, a plan and the first three calls already scheduled.
Three days in the Lowcountry with seven thoughtful strangers — and Maren quietly holding the whole thing together. I came home lighter and far clearer.

Three Days on the Marsh
Twice a year — in April and October — Maren hosts eight guests for three unhurried days on the edge of the salt marsh outside Charleston. Morning sessions, long lunches, afternoons to walk or rest, and one question carried through the whole weekend: what's next for you?
Meals and lodging are included; guests arrange their own travel.

Before You Inquire
Why is there a waitlist?
Maren works with no more than eight private clients at a time so each engagement gets full attention. Openings usually come up every few months.
Who do you typically work with?
Founders, executives, physicians, attorneys and creatives at a turning point — though the common thread is the transition, not the title.
Is coaching the same as therapy?
No. Coaching is forward-looking and practical. If therapy would serve you better, Maren will say so and help you find the right person.
Can the VIP Day happen outside the studio?
Yes — at your home, a quiet hotel or on the marsh, within an hour of Charleston.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes. Private coaching can be paid monthly across the six months.
