Thirty Years in HR, Then Her Own Retirement
The phone calls used to come about a year after the retirement party. "The money's fine," people would say. "I just don't know what I'm for anymore." Ruthanne heard it often enough in thirty years of human resources to know it wasn't bad luck — it was a missing plan.
When she retired herself in 2015, she built that plan the hard way. Now she helps others design the life side of retirement: what to keep, what to start, how to share a house with a partner who is suddenly home all day, and how to feel useful without a job title.

Common Questions
Do you give financial advice?
No. Ruthanne coaches the life side of retirement and works alongside your financial advisor, never in place of one.
When should I start?

My spouse isn't sure. Can I come alone?
Of course. Many people start alone and invite their partner for a joint session later.
Do you work with employers?
Yes. Workshops for employees approaching retirement can be held on site or online.
