Sixteen Years On Dealer Lots

We Work The Way A Lot Actually Runs

Whitlock started as one van servicing two used-car lots on the north side. Sixteen years later we hold sixty-two accounts across Dallas–Fort Worth and the model is unchanged: a scheduled day, a technician who knows your inventory system, and one invoice at the end of the month. Nobody on your team has to raise a purchase order to get a car keyed.

How An Account Runs

From First Call To Standing Lot Day

We Walk Your Lot

A free first visit to see your inventory mix, your key storage and how cars actually move through.

We Agree A Day

A fixed weekly or biweekly slot that suits your intake, so nobody has to chase a callout.

We Clear The Backlog

The first visit is usually the big one — everything sitting keyless gets handled at once.

We Bill Monthly

One invoice, itemized per vehicle and stock number, on net-30 terms.

All Keys Lost

What Happens When There Is No Key At All

01

Ownership First

Title, bill of sale or auction paperwork. We do not originate a key without it, ever.

02

Code From The VIN

We pull the key code from the manufacturer against the vehicle identification number.

03

Cut And Cut Again

A mechanical key cut to code, plus the spare, so you are never back to one key.

04

Programmed On Site

Immobilizer and fob coded to the vehicle at your lot. It drives away, it does not get towed.

Back To 1998, Including The Awkward Years

Anyone can do a 2022 model with a factory tool. The value is in the middle — the transponder generations from the early 2000s, the proprietary systems that never sold in volume, and the European models that need equipment most shops will not buy for one car a month. We carry it because at sixty-two accounts, that one car a month happens every week.

No Commitment

How Many Cars Are Sitting Keyless Right Now?

Common Questions

Do we have to have a standing day?

No. Plenty of accounts call us as needed. But if you are handling more than a couple of keyless trade-ins a week, a scheduled day is cheaper per car and stops anything sitting.

How far back do you cover?

Reliably to 1998 across domestic, Japanese, Korean and European makes. Older than that is usually a straightforward mechanical cut anyway — send us the year and make and we will confirm.

What do you need for a car with no key?

Proof the vehicle is yours — title, bill of sale, or the auction paperwork — plus the VIN. We will not originate a key without it, which is the same protection you would want on your own inventory.

Can you handle push-to-start and smart keys?

Yes, including all-keys-lost. Those take longer than a mechanical cut and some makes have a security wait period built in, which we will tell you about up front rather than on the day.

How does billing work?

Volume accounts are billed monthly on net-30 terms, itemized per vehicle and stock number so it reconciles against your system without anyone guessing.

Do you come to auctions?

Yes. We cover the Dallas–Fort Worth auction houses and can meet a buyer on site, which is usually faster than getting the car home first.
