Same Day Locksmith in Memphis
Booked before noon and it is done today. Our vans carry enough stock that ninety-two percent of jobs finish on the first visit rather than waiting on a part.
What We Do
The whole trade, mostly finished the day you call.

The Second Visit Is The Expensive One
Most of what makes a locksmith slow is not skill, it is stock. A technician who arrives without the right cylinder has to order it, come back, and charge you for two visits worth of driving. We spent years working out what actually gets called for in this city and loaded the vans accordingly, which is why ninety-two percent of our jobs are finished the first time somebody knocks on your door.
Four Reasons You End Up Waiting A Week
The Part Was Not On The Van
The single most common cause of a second visit. It is a stocking decision, not a technical one, and it is entirely avoidable.
Nobody Measured The Door
Commercial hardware comes in handings and backsets. Guessing means ordering twice and waiting twice.
The Quote Covered Half The Job
A price for the lock, then a separate one for the strike and the closer once they are on site. Ask what the number includes.
The Booking Was Never Really Confirmed
A window is not an appointment. We give you a time and call if we are running behind, which costs us nothing and saves your day.
Need It Sorted Today?
Homes, Cars And Businesses
Homeowners
Lockouts, rekeys after a move, deadbolt upgrades and doors that stopped latching properly.
Businesses
Shopfronts, offices and warehouses — master keys, staff changes and hardware that takes daily punishment.
Drivers
Keys locked in, keys lost entirely, worn keys that no longer turn and fobs that stopped working.
Landlords
Turnover rekeys between tenants, with old keys accounted for and new ones handed over on a signature.

What Same Day Actually Means Here
Plenty of trades advertise same-day service and mean same-day attendance — somebody looks at it today and the work happens next week. We mean the job is finished. Booked before noon, done that afternoon, on the overwhelming majority of what we are called for. On the rare job that genuinely cannot be, we tell you which day it will be on the first call rather than discovering it on your doorstep.
Call, Book, Arrive, Finish
You Call
Tell us what has happened. We will ask about the door or vehicle so we load the right stock.
We Book A Real Time
An actual appointment rather than an all-day window, with a price attached.
We Arrive Loaded
With what the job needs on board, because the second visit is the one that costs everybody.
We Finish It
Ninety-two percent of the time, that day. And the invoice matches the quote.
What Memphis Says
Called at nine about a back door that would not lock, expecting to wait until next week. They were there by two and it was done by three. That is the entire review — they said today and they meant today.
Two other locksmiths turned up, looked at our old mortise lock, and said they would have to order a part and come back. Redgate had it on the van. Twenty-nine years in business apparently means you carry the awkward stuff.
Rekeyed eleven doors across two buildings in an afternoon with no fuss and no second visit. The invoice matched the quote exactly, which after our last contractor felt almost surprising.
Common Questions
Do you really finish the same day?
On the large majority of jobs booked before noon, yes — finished, not just attended. If yours is one of the ones that genuinely cannot be, you will hear that on the first call rather than at the end of the afternoon.
What if you do not have the part?
It happens on roughly one job in twelve. When it does we tell you the day it will be finished, and we do not charge for the return visit — the second trip is our stocking problem, not your bill.
Is there an after-hours rate?
Yes, on the 24-hour emergency line outside of Monday to Saturday six to eight. We will tell you what it is on the phone rather than at the door.
Will you damage my lock getting in?
Usually not. Most locks can be picked and that is what we try first. If one genuinely cannot be, we tell you before starting rather than after.
Can you handle commercial hardware?
It is a large part of what we do — panic bars, closers, master key systems and the doors that see a thousand uses a week. We measure handings and backsets on the call so the van leaves with the right parts.
Does the quote cover everything?
Yes. If the strike needs adjusting or the closer needs attention to make the lock work properly, that is part of the job we quoted rather than a line added afterwards.
