Trusted Locksmith in Nashville

One price, quoted before we leave the shop, and a phone that gets answered at two in the morning. Eighteen years of doing exactly that.

The Bar Is Answering The Phone

Ask anyone who has been locked out at midnight what went wrong and it is rarely the lock. It is four numbers that did not answer, one that answered without giving a price, and an hour lost before anyone set off. We built this around the unglamorous half: someone picks up, you get a real figure and a real time, and if we genuinely cannot come we say so rather than leaving you waiting on us.

Who We Help

Anyone Locked Out Of Anything

Homeowners

Lockouts, rekeys after moving in, deadbolt upgrades and doors that stopped latching.

Drivers

Keys locked in, keys lost, worn keys that will not turn, and fobs that stopped working.

Businesses

Shops, offices and restaurants — staff changes, master keys and hardware that gets hammered.

Landlords

Rekeys between tenants, with old keys accounted for and new ones handed over properly.

How This Trade Goes Wrong

Four Things To Watch For

The Number That Is Not Local

Many search results are national dispatch services. They take your job, sell it on, and neither of you controls the price.

The Quote That Grows

Nineteen dollars on the phone, three hundred on the doorstep. Get a real figure before anyone sets off and hold them to it.

Drilling By Default

Drilling is faster for the locksmith and means you buy a new lock. Most locks can be picked. Ask which is planned.

No License On The Invoice

Tennessee licenses locksmiths. If the number is not on the paperwork or the van, you have no recourse when something goes wrong.

Any Hour

Locked Out Right Now?

Pricing

One Number, Said Out Loud, Before We Leave

We will not advertise a headline price, because the honest answer depends on the lock, the hour and where you are. What we will do is tell you the actual figure on the phone before anyone gets in a van, and then charge exactly that. No callout fee revealed at the door, no separate labor line invented afterwards, and no discovery that your lock is somehow a special case.

How It Works

Call, Price, Arrive, Done

1

You Call

Any hour. Tell us what is locked and where you are, roughly.

2

We Price It

A real figure and a real arrival window, both on that first call.

3

We Turn Up

In a marked van, with the license number on it and enough on board to finish.

4

You Pay What We Said

That figure, with a written receipt. Nothing added at the door.

Also Handled

The Smaller Jobs Too

Spare Keys Cut

House, padlock and mailbox keys cut while you wait, including restricted blanks with authority.

Door Closers & Hinges

The door that will not latch is usually the frame or the closer rather than the lock itself.

Mailbox Locks

Cluster box and individual mailbox locks replaced without waiting on the postal service.

Security Upgrades

Deadbolt upgrades, strike reinforcement and the cheap changes that make a door genuinely harder to force.

Called four numbers off a search at one in the morning. Two never answered, one wanted to send someone with no price, and Pettigrew told me a figure and a time. Both were right. That is a shockingly low bar and almost nobody clears it.
Rolando Esparza
Lost the only key to a work van on a Saturday. They came to the lot, made and programmed a key there, and had me driving in under an hour. The dealership had quoted four days and a tow.

Rekeyed our whole rental after the last tenants left, then came back a month later when a door started sticking and would not take payment for the second visit. Said it was part of the first job.

Common Questions

Why will you not put prices on the website?

Because an honest price depends on the lock, the hour and the location, and a headline number would be a bait figure. You get the real one on the phone before anyone sets off, which is the part that actually protects you.

Is there a callout fee?

It is included in the figure we quote. There is no separate charge that appears when we arrive, which is the single most common complaint people bring us about the last locksmith they used.

Do after-hours calls cost more?

Yes, and we say so on the call rather than at the door. Two in the morning genuinely costs more to staff, but you will know the number before you agree to anything.

How fast can you get here?

Usually thirty to forty-five minutes across Nashville, longer out toward Murfreesboro or at rush hour. We give a real window rather than telling every caller twenty minutes.

Will you damage my lock?

Usually not. Most locks can be picked and that is what we try first, because it leaves you with the lock you already own. If one cannot be picked we tell you before we start, not afterwards.

Can you make a key if I have lost all of them?

Yes, for houses and for most vehicles back to the late nineties, at your location. For a car, bring proof it is yours — we will not originate a key without it.

Do you program push-to-start fobs?

Yes. Some makes have a security wait period built in that nobody can shorten, and we will tell you about it on the phone rather than when we are standing at your car.
