What size events do you produce?
We specialize in mid-to-large-scale productions — typically from intimate 50-guest milestone dinners up to galas and conferences of a thousand-plus. Our sweet spot is high-stakes events where design, logistics, and flawless execution all matter at once. If you're not sure whether your event is a fit, reach out and tell us about it; we'll give you an honest answer and, if it's not right for us, point you to someone great.
How much does a Marquee event cost?
It depends entirely on scale, scope, and ambition — a 75-guest corporate dinner and a 600-guest gala with full production live in very different ranges. We work to your budget and are transparent about where every dollar goes, and because of our vendor relationships and buying power, we often deliver more event for the money than clients expect. We'll give you a clear, itemized proposal after an initial consultation.
How far in advance should we book you?
For large galas, conferences, and launches, six to twelve months is ideal — the best venues and talent book up far ahead, and ambitious production takes time to do right. For smaller celebrations and corporate events, three to six months is typical. That said, we've pulled off remarkable events on tighter timelines when we had to. If your date is soon, call us; we love a beautiful challenge and will tell you honestly what's possible.
Do you handle corporate as well as private events?
Both, and it's a real strength. We produce corporate galas, conferences, summits, launches, and holiday parties, as well as private milestone celebrations and parties. The production discipline that makes a flawless thousand-person conference is exactly what makes a surprise fiftieth feel effortless. Many of our clients hire us first for work, then come back for their own celebrations once they've seen how we operate.
Can you work with our existing vendors or venue?
Absolutely. If you already have a venue you love or vendors and talent you want to use, we'll fold them into the production and coordinate everyone seamlessly. And where you'd like recommendations, our network of Chicago's finest venues, caterers, performers, and crews is at your disposal. Your event is yours — we bring the structure, the design eye, and the relationships to make it the best version of itself.
Do you produce events outside Chicago?
Yes. Chicago is home and where most of our work happens, but we travel for the right productions — destination galas, multi-city corporate roadshows, and celebrations elsewhere. For events away from home we manage the added layers of travel logistics, local sourcing, and remote coordination so the production feels just as tight as one in our own backyard.
