Beautifully Planned, Effortlessly Yours
Wren & Ivy is a full-service wedding and event studio in wine country, designing and coordinating celebrations that feel unmistakably you — and run like a dream. You dream it; we handle everything else.

Planning, Tailored to You
Whether you want a partner from day one or an expert to run the final mile, there's a way to work with us that fits.

We Bring the Calm
Wren & Ivy began in 2015 with a simple conviction: planning a wedding should feel as joyful as the wedding itself. Too many couples spend their engagement buried in spreadsheets and vendor emails, and arrive at the big day too exhausted to enjoy it. We exist to change that.
We're a small, devoted studio rooted in Napa Valley, with the relationships and the wine-country know-how that only come from a decade of celebrations here. We design around your story rather than a template, we manage the budget and the hundred moving parts with a steady hand, and on the day itself we're the calm, invisible engine that makes everything simply work. You get to be fully, gloriously present — and so does everyone you love.

The Calm in Your Happily-Ever-After
Anyone can hand you a checklist. Here's what it actually feels like to plan your wedding with us.
One Calm Point of Contact
No juggling a dozen vendors and email threads. You have us — one steady, responsive team who knows every detail of your day by heart.
Wine Country's Best Vendors
A decade of relationships means access to the region's most talented florists, chefs, and venues — and the trust that gets you their very best.
Designed Around You
No copy-paste themes. We design a celebration that reflects your story and taste, so it feels personal, cohesive, and unmistakably yours.
Every Detail Handled
Budgets, contracts, timelines, logistics, the surprises — we manage all of it with a steady hand, so nothing slips and nothing surprises you.
On Budget, On Time
We're honest about costs from day one and protective of your budget throughout. No runaway spending, no last-minute panics.
Fully Present on the Day
The greatest gift we give you is your own wedding day — lived, not managed. We run everything so you can simply soak it all in.

Be a Guest at Your Own Wedding
Here's the truth nobody tells you: without a planner, the person managing your wedding day is usually you — or your mom, or your most organized friend. Someone you love ends up chasing the caterer, fixing the seating, and watching the clock instead of watching you say your vows.
That's the one thing we will never let happen. From the final-weeks handoff through the last dance, we own every logistic, cue every vendor, and quietly solve every hiccup before you ever hear about it. Your only job on your wedding day is to be completely, joyfully present — to laugh, cry, dance, and remember it all. We'll take care of everything else, because that's the whole point.
- ✓We own the timeline and every vendor cue
- ✓Hiccups solved before you ever hear them
- ✓Your loved ones are guests, not staff
- ✓You stay fully present, start to finish
Love Notes From Our Couples
Hiring Wren & Ivy was the best decision we made about our entire wedding. They took a Pinterest board and a budget and turned it into the most beautiful day of our lives — and somehow made the whole process feel calm and even fun. On the day itself, we didn't lift a finger or worry about a thing. We were fully present, completely. I will recommend them to every couple I know, forever.
We planned most of our wedding ourselves but hired Wren & Ivy for day-of coordination, and oh my goodness, worth every cent. In the final weeks they took over every logistic, wrangled all our vendors, and built a timeline so airtight that the day ran like a dream. My mom actually cried about how relaxed I was. I got to be a bride, not a project manager.
The design. I still cannot get over the design. I described the feeling I wanted — warm, romantic, a little wild — and Wren & Ivy translated it into a tablescape and florals so breathtaking our guests gasped when they walked in. Every detail, down to the napkin fold and the candlelight, was intentional and us. It looked like a magazine, but it felt like home.
We flew in from across the country for a wine-country wedding and didn't know a single local vendor. Wren & Ivy handled absolutely everything from afar — the venue, the florals, the room blocks, even welcome bags for our guests. It felt impossibly easy for something that should have been so hard. They are organized, warm, and genuinely gifted at what they do.

Questions, Answered
How much does a wedding planner cost?
It depends on the level of service and the scale of your celebration. Full-service planning is typically a percentage of your overall budget or a flat fee, while day-of coordination is a more focused investment. In our experience, a good planner usually saves couples money — through vendor relationships, budget discipline, and avoided mistakes — on top of saving you countless hours and a great deal of stress. We're transparent about pricing from our very first conversation.
What's the difference between full-service and day-of?
Full-service planning means we're with you from the engagement onward — design, vendor selection, budget, timeline, and managing it all, plus running the day itself. Day-of coordination (really a six-to-eight-week engagement) is for couples who've planned everything themselves and want an expert to take over logistics and execution at the end, so they can relax and be present. Partial planning sits in between. We'll help you find the right fit.
How far in advance should we book you?
For full-service planning, twelve to eighteen months ahead is ideal, especially for peak Napa Valley dates in spring and fall — the best venues and vendors book up early. For day-of coordination, six to nine months is typical. That said, if your date is sooner, reach out anyway; we sometimes have availability and we love a beautiful challenge. The earlier we start, the more we can shape every detail.
Can we use our own vendors?
Absolutely. While we have a trusted little black book of wine country's finest, your wedding is yours. If you have vendors you love or family connections that matter to you, we'll happily fold them in and coordinate with everyone seamlessly. And if you'd rather we recommend and manage the whole team, we'll match you with people we'd hire for our own celebrations.
Do you travel for destination weddings?
We do, and we love it. Napa Valley is home, but we plan weddings throughout wine country and take select destination celebrations farther afield. For destination couples we handle the added layers — travel logistics, local vendor sourcing, room blocks, welcome events, and guest communication — so a wedding away feels just as effortless as one in our own backyard. Ask us about your dream location.
Do you plan events other than weddings?
Yes! While weddings are our heart, we bring the same care to anniversaries, milestone birthdays, engagement parties, bridal and baby showers, and elevated corporate and private events. If it's an occasion worth gathering the people you love and making it beautiful, we'd be honored to plan it. Just tell us what you're celebrating.
