Our Approach

Part Of Your Care Team, Not A Replacement For It

Medical massage works best as one part of a plan. We read the notes your doctor or physical therapist sends, ask what you can and can't do yet, and stay inside any limits they set. We don't diagnose. If something looks like it needs a medical opinion, we'll tell you and send you back to your provider.

  • ✓Short assessment at the first visit
  • ✓Written treatment plan with goals
  • ✓Progress notes you can share
Why People Come In

Common Reasons Clients Book

Recovering from surgery

Knee, hip and shoulder replacements and repairs, after your surgeon's OK.

Desk-related neck and back pain

Tight neck, shoulders and upper back from long hours at a screen.

Overuse, strains and accidents

Tight calves, hamstrings and shoulders, or stiffness after a car accident once a doctor has checked you.

How It Works

Referrals & Receipts

The Paperwork, Handled

You don't need a referral to book. If you have one, bring it: it helps us plan. We don't bill health insurance directly. Instead we give you an itemized receipt with the details your plan asks for, so you can submit it yourself. Massage may be HSA or FSA eligible with a letter of medical necessity from your doctor; check with your plan.

  • ✓No referral needed to book
  • ✓Itemized receipts for reimbursement

Patient Reviews

In Their Words

★★★★★
My physical therapist suggested massage alongside my shoulder rehab. They read her notes, asked what I could and couldn't do yet, and worked around it. My PT said the extra sessions helped keep things from tightening up between visits.
Denise M.Post-surgical client
★★★★★
Ten years of a stiff neck from long days at the computer. They measured how far I could turn my head on the first visit and again at the sixth. Seeing the change written down kept me going.

★★★★★
Clear, professional and on time. They gave me an itemized receipt and the paperwork I needed for my HSA without me having to chase it.

Patient Questions

Medical Massage FAQ

What's the difference between medical massage and a regular massage?

Medical massage is aimed at a specific problem, starts with an assessment, follows a written plan and tracks progress. A regular massage is usually about relaxing and general wellbeing.

Do you diagnose injuries?

No. Massage therapists don't diagnose. We work on injuries within your doctor's or physical therapist's plan and limits, and we'll send you back to them if something needs a medical opinion.

How soon after surgery can I come in?

Only once your surgeon clears you, which is often several weeks after the operation. Bring any instructions they gave you.

Do I need a referral?

No. A referral or your provider's notes help us plan, but you can book without one.

Do you take insurance?

We don't bill insurance directly. You pay at the visit, and we give you an itemized receipt to submit to your plan if it covers massage.

Can I use my HSA or FSA?

Massage may be eligible when your doctor writes a letter of medical necessity. Check with your plan before you book.

Ready To Get Moving Again?

Request an appointment and we'll call to set up your assessment, usually within one business day.
