Every treatment worth doing has a healing window. This is the order we work in, and it's the reason nothing has to be rushed at the end.
12-9 Months Out — Baseline
A full consultation and standardised photographs, then we build the plan around your date, your budget and how your skin actually behaves.
9-6 Months Out — The Real Work
Anything with downtime happens here: laser, pigment clearing, acne programmes, body treatments. Winter is the right season for most of it in the Lowcountry.
6-3 Months Out — Refinement
First round of injectables if they're part of your plan, so there's time to assess, adjust and repeat before it matters.
3 Months to 6 Weeks — Settle
Final tweaks and a run of maintenance facials. After the six-week mark we stop introducing anything new, without exception.
Wedding Week — Glow Only
A hydrating, non-stimulating facial five to seven days before. Nothing that can react, nothing that can bruise, nothing you haven't already had.
What Goes Into a Bridal Plan
You won't be sold all of these. Most brides need three or four of them, sequenced properly.
Nothing New in the Last Six Weeks
It is the single most useful thing we do, and the only thing we won't negotiate on.
No first-time treatments after the six-week mark
If you've never had it, we don't know how your skin answers. Six weeks before your wedding is the worst possible time to find out.
No new skincare products either
A retinol or acid you started a fortnight ago is a common cause of the peeling brides panic about. Bring us your routine and we'll edit it.
Nothing that bruises inside four weeks
Injectables can bruise even in expert hands. Ours are finished well before, so a bruise is an inconvenience rather than a crisis.
One hydrating facial, five to seven days before
Enough time for any flush to settle, close enough that the glow is still there. Never the day before, and never on the day.
We will say no, and tell you why
Brides ask for late add-ons every season. Being told no with a proper explanation is what you're actually paying us for.

Camellia House sits in a converted single house on Cannon Street, and for eight years we have done very little except get people ready for a day that has a fixed date.
That constraint shapes everything. A clinic without deadlines can always treat you next month; we work backwards from a Saturday that will not move. It means we say no to late requests, we photograph everyone under the same lighting so progress is measurable rather than remembered, and we would rather book you eleven months out and be unhurried than four weeks out and be careful.
We also prep the people standing beside you. Bridesmaids, mothers, partners and fathers of the bride have all been through this room.

We Plan From the Date
Every plan starts at the wedding and counts backwards. It sounds obvious and almost nobody does it, which is why so many brides end up rushing treatments that needed months.

You get the full schedule and the full cost at the consultation. Weddings are expensive enough without a clinic adding to the bill as it goes.
Photographed, Not Remembered
Same lighting, same angles, every review. It's how we know whether the pigment work is genuinely doing something before we commit further months to it.

How It Actually Went
I booked eleven months out, which felt ridiculous at the time, and it turned out to be the whole point. Everything that needed lasers happened in winter, the injectables were done by February, and by April all I had left to do was show up for a facial. No panic, no last-minute anything.
What sold me was being told no. I wanted a new treatment three weeks before the wedding and they wouldn't do it — explained exactly why, offered a hydrating facial instead, and I walked down the aisle with skin that looked like mine on a very good day.
Six of us came in as a group over two mornings and it became one of my favourite parts of the whole wedding. My mum came too. Everyone got their own plan rather than the same facial six times.
Bridal Questions, Answered Plainly
How far ahead should I book?
Nine to twelve months is ideal, because anything involving laser or pigment work needs several sessions spaced weeks apart. That said, we build useful plans at six months, three months and even six weeks — they're just narrower. Book the consultation as soon as you have a date.
What if my wedding is in eight weeks?
Then we'll tell you honestly what's still safely possible, which is usually hydration, gentle clearing and a well-timed facial. We won't start lasers or first-time injectables inside that window, and any clinic that offers to is taking a risk with your photographs, not theirs.
Can I have a facial the day before?
Please don't, and we won't book one. Even a gentle facial can leave a flush that takes a day or two to settle. Five to seven days before is the sweet spot — settled skin, glow still there.
Will injectables look obvious in photos?
Not when they're dosed conservatively and done early. We do a first round at least three months out precisely so there's time to look at it, adjust, and let everything soften. Rushed injectables are what people notice.
Do you treat the bridal party?
Constantly — it's one of our favourite parts of the job. Groups of up to eight book across a morning, each with their own short consultation and their own plan. Mothers of the bride and groom are very welcome.
What about my back and chest?
Start early. Clearing texture and breakouts across the back, chest and shoulders is slow work — three to six months for a real change. If your dress is backless, mention it at the first appointment, not the fourth.
Is any of this safe if I'm pregnant?
Some of it, and we'll be careful about which. Facials and most hydrating work are fine; injectables, several lasers and certain actives are not. Tell us at booking and we'll build a plan that's entirely comfortable for your obstetrician.
What does a full plan cost?
It depends on how much laser and injectable work is in it, which is exactly why we cost the whole schedule at the consultation before you commit to anything. You'll leave that appointment with a number for the entire run, not a per-visit surprise.
