Why Two Tattoos Never Take the Same Time
Anyone quoting a session count before seeing the tattoo is guessing. These are the factors that actually decide it.
Ink Colour
Black and dark blue clear fastest. Green, teal and yellow are the slowest and need the second platform.
Ink Density
Solid blackwork and packed shading hold far more pigment than a fine-line piece of the same size.
Age of the Tattoo
Older ink has already faded and broken down, so it usually clears in fewer sessions than fresh work.
Where It Is
Ink closer to the heart clears faster. Ankles, feet and hands are the slowest areas on the body.
Your Skin Tone

Frequently Asked Questions
How many sessions will it take?
Anywhere from three for a small faded piece to twenty for dense multicolour work. We won't guess over the phone — the consultation gives you a written estimate based on the actual tattoo, and we'd rather over-estimate and finish early.
Does it hurt?
More than getting the tattoo, but each session is short — often under five minutes. We numb the area first and use cold air throughout. Most patients describe it as intense but very brief.
Will it scar?
Not if it's done at the right settings with proper spacing and aftercare. Scarring in removal almost always comes from over-treating, treating too frequently, or picking at blisters. Our protocols and your aftercare instructions exist for exactly this.
Why do I have to wait six to eight weeks?
The laser fragments the ink; your immune system removes it, and that takes weeks. Treating sooner doesn't speed anything up — it just adds risk and wastes a session you've paid for.
Can you remove colour ink?
Yes, and this is why we run two platforms. Greens, blues and teals need wavelengths that a single-laser studio doesn't have, which is why so many patients plateau elsewhere and finish here.
What if I only want it faded for a cover-up?
