For Trucks That Can't Wait
Kimble started servicing oilfield fleets out of one truck in 2012, when every hour a unit sat in a shop line was an hour it wasn't hauling water, sand or crude. Today our service trucks go wherever the work is: your yard at 5 a.m., a lease road at noon, the shoulder of I-20 at midnight. Our technicians are diesel specialists, and every repair comes with a written report for your maintenance file.

From Fleet Managers And Drivers
We run 30 pickups and six tractors out of a yard in Midland. Kimble does our PMs on site every month, so trucks are only out of service while they're being worked on, not driving to a shop and waiting in line.
Lost air pressure on I-20 outside Monahans at night. Their truck was there in a little over an hour, found a split air line, and I was rolling again before my delivery window closed.
Annual inspections for our whole fleet, done in our lot in two days with paperwork for every unit. That used to take us two weeks of shuttling trucks.

Mobile Diesel FAQ
What trucks do you work on?
Class 3 to Class 8 diesels: semis, day cabs, box trucks, service bodies, heavy pickups and most oilfield support units.
How much does a mobile diesel mechanic cost?
Scheduled work starts at $125 an hour with no call-out fee in Odessa or Midland. Breakdown calls start at $175 for the call-out, then the hourly rate on site. Fleet accounts get set per-unit PM pricing.
Can you do DOT inspections in our yard?
Yes. A qualified inspector completes annual inspections on site and leaves the paperwork and decal for each unit.
What can't you fix on the road?
Jobs that need a lift or a dyno, like major engine overhauls or transmission rebuilds. We'll diagnose it on site and line up a shop if it truly needs one.
How far do you travel?
Across the Permian Basin, from Pecos to Big Spring and Andrews to Stanton. Farther out, we quote the travel before we go.
